Anxiety Counselling in Southwark
The issues I most often help with are anxiety and burnout in professional life, late-recognised autism or ADHD in adults, and the aftermath of relational trauma.
Most of my clients are finance or technology professionals reckoning with perfectionism and burnout, adults exploring a late autism or ADHD diagnosis, or people recovering from coercive-control relationships. Many arrive when something that used to work has stopped: a career, a relationship, a way of coping. I begin with a thorough assessment, then we agree what is likely to fit. The work draws on schema therapy, CBT, EMDR and person-centred therapy, matched to the person rather than chosen in advance. The direction is collaborative; the relationship is what matters most.

Thank you for stopping by. Reaching out takes courage, especially when what brings us in may only hint at deeper patterns or emotions beneath the surface. Often, we carry unspoken feelings or past experiences that quietly shape how we relate to ourselves and others. In therapy, there’s space to explore these layers with curiosity and care. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to understand yourself more fully, this could be the start of meaningful change—and you don’t have to do it alone. I invite you to take your time, and when you're ready, we can begin to explore what has bought you to therapy together.

Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about understanding you and your lived experience with care and compassion. You do not need to be in crisis to begin. Therapy can offer a consistent space to explore what feels difficult, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself. As a South Asian therapist, I recognise the cultural and emotional barriers that can make reaching out feel daunting. If you are unsure where to begin, that is okay. You do not have to face this alone. Now is the time to prioritise your wellbeing.

Since I began working in mental health in 2010, there’s something I’ve heard over and over again: the person in front of me worries that their problems aren’t big enough to deserve help.
I work with people who find that the appearance they present to the world contrasts starkly with how they feel inside. That tension reaches a point where they know they need help. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, sad, or simply out of sync, the promise of every therapeutic encounter is hope. Working together in a confidential relationship, we can explore the feelings and experiences that are preventing you from moving forward. You can begin the journey of meaningful change.
