My work is LGBTQIA+ affirming, ADHD/neurodivergence-aware and trauma-informed.
Therapy with me is not about sitting in silence while you try to figure everything out on your own. I ask questions, offer reflections, share what I notice, and gently challenge patterns when it feels helpful. Over time, you may begin to understand your emotions differently, and feel clearer about what you need.

People make the choice to start therapy for many reasons: maybe you’ve experienced a loss, are finding it hard to feel in control of your life, or want to better understand who you are. I’ll work with you to build a relationship in which you can learn about how you are in the world and examine patterns and ideas from the past that might need updating for where you find yourself now.

As an ex-lawyer I have personally experienced stress related burnout, work-place trauma, major depression, anxiety, grief, and adult diagnosis of ADD neurodiversity.
Are you stuck, finding life hard to manage or struggling with neurodiversity? Work with me to reconnect with your authentic self, the things that bring you joy and not get stuck on automatic pilot, playing parts that don't work any longer. You don't need to be unwell to benefit from psychosynthesis or mindfulness, although most people come to therapy when something gets stuck or unworkable in their lives. Whatever your reason to seek help, I believe in reconnecting you with what makes your heart sing.

I specialise in working with ADHD adults and couples, helping manage relationship conflict, communication struggles, overwhelm, and repeated patterns of misunderstanding.
I work with adults and couples struggling with communication, conflict, trust, and the impact of ADHD on relationships. Together, we make sense of patterns, reduce blame, and create calmer, more connected ways of relating, drawing on both professional and lived experience.

You might be autistic or have ADHD, formally diagnosed or still figuring it out, or you might simply have always had a sense that you were different, that you never quite belonged.
In our work together, you get to stop performing. We look honestly at what's been driving your patterns, and what it might feel like to finally be comfortable in your own skin, rather than just coping. This is about stepping out of the shadows, finding the courage to walk your own path, and learning to trust your own voice - perhaps for the first time.

I have a particular interest in neurodivergence: I live with ADHD myself, which gives me both personal and professional understanding.
I draw on psychosynthesis and Somatic Experiencing — working with mind, body, and the different parts of the self. Conversation is central, but not only conversation. I may invite attention to what's arising physically as we speak. This often opens something that thinking alone doesn't reach.

Whether you're facing a major life change, grieving a loss, processing past trauma, or struggling with difficult relationship dynamics, I’m here to walk alongside you. Trauma can leave us feeling disconnected- from ourselves, others and our sense of direction. It can make the world and even our own bodies feel unsafe. Together, we can work to gently rebuild that connection, helping you move toward greater self-understanding, safety and purpose.
I also support couples to navigate conflict, affairs, life transitions and disconnection in order to create more positive patterns in their relationship.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.
How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.
How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
