Mental & physical health, behavioural & school-related concerns, neurodiversity, eating difficulties, disability, sexual orientation, gender, feeding/sleeping, attachment, parenting/co- parenting, separation/divorce, fostering/adoption/kinship care, communication, psychosexual matters, infertility, infidelity, spirituality, discrimination/bullying & others.
I am a qualified systemic psychotherapist working with individuals, couples and families. In individual sessions, you can explore your emotions/behaviours, and relationships in different contexts, such as family/work, how they have been formed over time and impact on the view of self. Family/couples work: In a secure space, the presenting problem would be explored in relation to the family’s/couples' rules, roles, beliefs and emotions building on the existing strengths and resources of the system. There is no set agenda or expectations for a unanimous perspective, on the contrary, all voices and differences are welcomed.

Welcome. If you’re scrolling through profile after profile and feeling unsure, I understand. It can be confusing trying to find the “right” person. You might be feeling anxious, low, grieving a loss, at a turning point—or just not yourself. Whatever you're holding right now, this could be the place to begin working through it. I offer a safe, confidential space to talk, reflect, and gently unravel what's going on. Together, we can look at where you are today and what might be shaping your experience—your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I work in an integrative way, which means the therapy is shaped around you.

I am a BACP registered integrative therapist using a variety of approaches depending on the needs of each client. My approach is collaborative, practical and personal. I believe that human beings are naturally resilient and have an incredible capacity for change in the right supportive environment. We are often held back by our limiting core beliefs and by bringing awareness to our repeated patterns of behaviour, we can identify areas where we are “stuck” and are held there by our core beliefs. My aim is to help clients make space for new possibilities and new ways of being by challenging these limiting core beliefs together.

I work with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating emotional and relational patterns, including neurodivergent experience, anxiety, low mood, parenting stress, and family conflict, in ways that honour your unique story.
Clients sometimes wonder whether difference, cultural, religious, or otherwise, will get in the way. In my experience, what matters most is genuine curiosity, respect, and the ability to talk openly about what’s present. I won’t impose interpretations or focus on culture, family, or identity unless it feels relevant to you and to the work we’re doing.

What does therapy for parenting look like?
Therapists may work with parents individually, together, or include the whole family to find solutions for the problems a parent faces. Many parent-based therapies work on a parent’s relationship with their children, problem-solving within the family, and analysis of family dynamics. Therapy conducted remotely by video may be helpful in allowing a therapist to observe how families interact in their own homes.

When should a parent seek therapy?
When behavioral problems begin to disrupt the healthy functioning of a family, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If parents find that children are acting out in school, have started using drugs or alcohol, have developed eating disorders, or other similar red flags, a therapist may be able to help.

How long does therapy take for parenting problems?
Depending on the severity of a family’s challenges and the type of treatment utilized, therapy for parenting can last from weeks to months. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a pragmatic therapy type that can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. Structural family therapy, which inspects family dynamics, often takes several months. Parent-child interaction therapy is typically shorter-term, lasting between 10 and 20 sessions. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

Can therapy help parents dealing with burnout or stress?
Parenting is difficult. Parents may dismiss or conceal feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm, or escape ideation—imagining withdrawing from their parental obligations altogether. but left unattended, these feelings can have negative effects on the whole family. A therapist can help parents work on the skills they might need to better cope with the burdens of parenting and help them be the best parents they can be.
