In addition to my private practice, I am a Counsellor at Roehampton University (since 2017) where I deliver quality counselling and mindfulness to students.
I have over 19 years experience counselling people encountering temporary stressors or life-long behavioural and emotional challenges and/or those with mental health diagnoses. Relationship difficulties, life transitions, depression, anxiety and trauma are just a few of the themes with which I have supported clients. I also have experience working with complex cases, including those with dual-diagnoses. My work rests on a threshold of respect, compassion, and non-judgement. It is also collaborative: I offer an educated and human perspective to help bring heightened awareness to challenges, creating an opportunity for change.

My work is informed by practical neuroscience and the practices of mindfulness & compassion to help us slow down, learn to regulate, have more boundaried relationships with others and become a better friend to ourselves.
I know how daunting first sessions can be so it's my job to help you feel as comfortable as possible. The first session is an opportunity for us to find out a little about each other and for you to decide if I am the right therapist for you. We will discuss how things are for you at the moment, what's brought you to therapy and the things you'd like to work on.I offer a supportive, safe and confidential relationship. I have 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist, working initially in the NHS and for the last 8 years I've run a busy private practice in Central London.

My background in Yoga/ Mindfulness teaching enriched my therapeutic practice.
Reaching out for help is a courageous act and can mean that you feel anxious, lost, burnout, ‘not enough’… Therapy could help to reframe the way you think, feel, or behave. I see therapeutic change as the process of exploring, understanding, and most importantly accepting different aspects of the self. This way life can be lived more authentically, meaningfully, and creatively. I provide an empathetic, non-discriminatory, and attentive environment for you to share whatever it is that's on your mind. I believe in healing power of being truly seen, heard, and understood and as a therapist I intend to facilitate it.

I work with both the mind and body, incorporating creative imagination, dreamwork, visualisation, and mindfulness where appropriate.
Making the decision to start therapy can stir up anxiety about opening up to someone new. While therapy can sometimes be challenging, a compassionate, supportive and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship can be profoundly healing. It’s a space where you are fully accepted and can grow. I offer a therapeutic environment free from judgement, criticism, or expectations, where the sole focus is supporting you in your journey. I have extensive experience working with men facing challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, LGBTQ+ issues, and PTSD.
