You have already made a brave and important step on the journey to well-being and self-discovery, by enquiring about having therapy. As a Clinical Psychologist, I am passionate about helping people to realise the values, knowledge, and skills that they already hold, and how the awareness of this can enable them to live full, vibrant and satisfying lives. I believe that it is important to learn skills to help people cope with the present and the future, as well as making sense of past experiences to understand patterns that are happening in your life currently.

I work with individuals and couples who appear to be coping outwardly, but remain stuck in patterns of anxiety, emotional disconnection, or sexual difficulties that persist despite insight and effort.
This may include low desire, pain during sex, erection or orgasm difficulties, compulsive sexual behaviours, or sex becoming pressured, avoidant, increasingly monitored rather than felt, or distressing.
My approach is structured and evidence-based, focused on identifying and changing the patterns that maintain these difficulties.

I worked with individuals with a variety of clinical presentation including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic disorder (PTSD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder ( OCD), life transitions, bereavement, suicidal thoughts and abuse.
Each person is unique and distinctive and therefore one approach may not fit them all. I place the client-therapist relationship at the heart of an effective therapeutic process providing an honest and non-judgmental stance where your feelings can be expressed and contained in a safe and confidential setting. You might want to make sense of the past and explore how it can sometimes be reconstructed in the present or you might seek to get back in touch with your real self through acceptance and a better mind-body connection.

I help people untangle complex thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behaviour that feel hard to manage on their own. My work is thoughtful and practical, with a focus on understanding what keeps things stuck and developing tools that support real change in everyday life. I also offer support to individuals navigating major life transitions. As someone who has moved countries myself, this is an area I’m particularly invested in and well placed to support, whether you’re adjusting to a new country, identity shifts, or the emotional impact of living between cultures.

I help busy mums who feel anxious, overwhelmed, and stuck to reconnect with themselves, so they can show up for their families without losing who they are. You’re exhausted, emotionally drained, and constantly wondering if you’re doing enough. On the outside, you seem fine—but inside, you’re struggling. You love your family, but you’ve lost parts of yourself and don’t know how to get them back.

Rest assured, from the outset, you will be heard and acknowledged as a person in your own right.

Life can change very quickly, either through loss or events happening around us. This can be confusing and frighting, traumatic even. causing anxiety and stress which can feel overwhelming. With our feelings being invisible to others, life events can leave us feeling lonely our emotions impossible to over come, holding us back in life. I believe counselling can offer a way forward, relieving some of the burden of these feelings. helping to calm and quieten your internal world. Giving you back control of your life.

Finding a psychotherapist can be daunting, with a lot of terminology and names that might feel complicated and mystifying. My view is that therapy doesn't need to be so confusing and shrouded in secrecy and strange terms. To put it simply, I offer you the chance to talk about whatever might be troubling you in total confidence at the same time, on the same day, in the same place, every week. That consistency, alongside the relationship we will develop, is an essential part of the healing process that therapy can provide.

I was helped tremendously by my own experience of therapy, and have been influenced by a variety of approaches to it. I know a thing or two about depression, not caring much for oneself and struggling to understand one’s feelings; I come at it as one who has seen for himself that a better life and a better relationship with the self is both possible and worthwhile. If you would like to know more about me, how I understand therapy and how I work, you might want to visit my website, where I write about all at some depth.

My ideal clients are adults, parents, and professionals who are seeking to understand themselves more deeply, especially through the lens of attachment, trauma, emotional regulation, and relational patterns. Many come to my practice feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, stuck in repeated relationship dynamics, or carrying the impact of childhood experiences that still shape their present life. Through attachment-informed, trauma-sensitive, somatic, and psychoeducational approaches, I support clients in developing greater self-awareness, nervous system regulation, emotional resilience.
