Hi there, I'm Will, and whatever brings you here today – welcome, maybe I can help. I'm a BACP registered counsellor based in London Bridge, Crystal Palace and online, offering therapy to individuals and couples. I work in a way that is kind, thoughtful and imaginative. First and foremost, I listen deeply – to the content and the process. Over time, I seek to make connections between patterns in your day-to-day life, to patterns from your past, to patterns in the dynamic between us. The result is a growing space of awareness around these that, grounded in a supportive relationship, fosters clarity, meaning and positive change.

The modern pressures of life can take their toll on us – increasing responsibilities and being connected 24/7 can leave us feeling burnt out, anxious, and overwhelmed. Even when we do manage to disconnect, we find it difficult to disconnect from our racing thoughts. If you’re new to therapy it can be daunting, however taking this brave step can be rewarding. It can give you the space to explore what is really going on, process difficult emotions, develop healthy coping strategies and restore your mental well-being - so that you aren’t just surviving, but thriving in the world.

Embarking on therapy for the first time can feel daunting, especially when navigating the deeply personal terrain of sex and relationships. Taking the first step is often the most difficult part, but within that initial apprehension lies the profound potential for transformation and healing. As a sex & relationship therapist, and a qualified Yoga teacher, I work with individuals & couples on their mind-body connection, through somatic awareness and psychosexual therapy, to help foster greater wellbeing in sexual expression and pleasure. I offer a flexible, tailor-made approach that evolves alongside you.

I work integratively, drawing on psychodynamic, internal family systems, person-centred, mindfulness-based, and cognitive-behavioural approaches.
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in repetitive patterns - persistent stress or anxiety that does not respond to self-help strategies, recurring relationship difficulties, feelings of emptiness or lack of meaning, or a deep sense of not being ‘enough’. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences of life. My aim is to help you to start a journey of self-discovery and personal transformation that feels meaningful and sustainable.

I work from an existential, humanistic, and integrative perspective, informed by logotherapy, somatic therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, Internal Family Systems ( IFS), clinical work with trauma including PTSD and CPTSD, and a grounded engagement with transpersonal psychology and spirituality.
You may have carried anxiety, low mood, stress or exhaustion for a long time, while becoming increasingly distant from yourself or those close to you. Irritability, anger or strong emotional reactions may signal that something within you can no longer remain unheard. Therapy with me is a relational process in which you will be met as a person, not as a problem to solve. I work with individuals and couples, exploring what has shaped you, how you relate, what you value, and what may need to change, so you can live and love with greater presence, freedom and inner consent.

I offer a space for your mind, body, and the parts of yourself that are harder to put into words. If you're used to carrying a lot on your own, you may find it difficult to ask for support or make space for your own needs. From the outside, you may seem to be coping, while inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed, low in confidence, disconnected from yourself, or struggling in your relationships. People often come to work with me when something in their life is changing. Together, we can make sense of your experience, explore the patterns that have shaped you and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

Whether your concern is with communication, sex, power dynamics, money, emotional connection, anxiety, depression, dating, an affair or something unresolved and long past, I offer a safe and supportive environment where couples & individuals can openly discuss their issues and find ways to overcome the difficulties. Couples are enabled to consciously take charge of their relationship - to create it as you want it to be. This may be towards a happier and healthier relationship, or indeed to positively manage separation & the practicalities of divorce.

Our sessions are primarily conversational, but, I sometimes use imagery, chair work, mindfulness, breathing techniques, & subpersonalities (similar to IFS).
Are you feeling exhausted by life’s demands? Prehards you’ve always felt alone. Maybe you feel emotionally overwhelmed right now. Life can be difficult, and some experiences are profoundly painful. While everyone's challenges are unique, asking for help is always nerve-wracking; it takes a leap of faith to reach out! Still, therapy can change your life. I’m an experienced and fully qualified therapist registered with the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists. I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy sessions for adults of varying lengths, in either French (mother tongue) or English, according to your needs.

I work with executives, business partners and couples who want a place where we can make sense of what is going on and make meaningful changes in their work and relationships. I have a background as a senior leader and executive coach in the City and work regularly with senior professionals, executives, business partners and couples who are often high-functioning but find themselves dealing with something that their usual approach cannot solve.

Practicing Internal Family Systems Therapy ( IFS) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
IFS therapy looks at our inner world as a family system of sub-personalities which all have their own needs and wants, it helps us talk to them, solve inner conflicts, remove blocks and limiting beliefs, heal trauma so that our internal system becomes balanced and functions smoothly.

I trained and qualified in London at the Psychosynthesis Trust, with integrative training in family systems, Gestalt, somatic and trauma work.
I work well with people who are used to holding things together, yet inside something no longer feels quite right. You may be managing work, relationships or family life while feeling anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure what needs to change. Many people come to therapy during a transition: a shift in work or identity, relationship difficulties, a move or life abroad, or a growing sense that they want to understand themselves more deeply. Together, we can slow things down and explore what lies beneath the surface.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Counsellors
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
