You're someone who thinks carefully about things. You can see your own patterns, at least partially — you know something is getting in the way, even if you can't quite name it yet. Maybe it shows up in your relationships, a recurring sense of not-quite-enough, or a feeling that the life you've built doesn't fully feel like yours. You might carry the weight of family expectations, be navigating the gap between two cultures, or be a woman quietly re-examining the story you were handed. Whatever brings you here, you're not looking to be fixed. You're looking to understand.

I offer a 40% discount to people in creative professions, LGBTQ+, and under the age of 30. My clients often navigate questions of identity in a world that feels demanding or difficult to belong in. What may present as anxiety, burnout, or relationship difficulties is sometimes rooted in social and economic systems that influence our emotional lives and relationships. Those systems may be oppressive, particularly for people of creative spirit, neurodivergent individuals, queer folks, and those experiencing cultural difference or other forms of marginalisation.

Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re navigating a life transition, coping with emotional distress, or seeking greater self-understanding. You may be experiencing low mood, anxiety, relationship difficulties, questions around identity, loss, or finding yourself caught in repeating patterns. Many people come to therapy wanting to better understand their relationship with themselves and with others, and how these patterns affect their lives. Therapy can offer a supportive space to reflect, develop insight, and build a greater sense of agency in how you move forward.

Sessions with me support you to look at your life from a fresh perspective, clients tell me that it's like being given a new pair of eyes through which to see the world and a bank of tools with which to live by. People call me a ‘people expert’ because I have the ability to see through issues, get to the core of concerns and see clearly how you can uncover and maximise the core strengths you have within. I see my role as supporting you to discover the gold you really are and bring that into your life.

Waiting List for Low Cost Psychosexual Therapy Beginning in Sept. '26 Therapy that leads somewhere. It’s our relationships that make the difference. People who work with me build a relationship that supports lasting and meaningful change in their life. You might be coming to therapy feeling frustrated that you’ve not been able to fix things on your own. Maybe you have talked, reflected, read, and processed, yet the same patterns keep showing up. Working with me allows you to gain perspectives you cannot get on your own, and the support to shift unwanted patterns and dynamics. Warmth matters, but so does direction.

Hello, I'm Cora. I offer practical, down-to-earth therapy that gets modern life. It's hard to write about therapy without it sounding…well, like therapy-speak. So, I’ll do my best to avoid the cliches, and try to give you something more concrete. I've been working with Millennials and Gen. Z since 2018 - which in real terms means my private practice is older than Lana Del Rey's Norman Rockwell album. Throughout these years, I've been alongside you in the trenches, helping people find solid ground when life feels anything but. And, as the Lana reference may have hinted, I have particular experience of working with queer stories.

I have worked with people who want to resolve longstanding issues or heal from traumatic past experiences, as well as those who want a space to understand the impact of life transitions and changes. Therapy is a highly individual process, tailored to you.

You may be seeking therapy because something feels overwhelming, painful, stuck, or hard to understand. You might be struggling with anxiety, low mood, trauma, grief, identity, relationships, emotional regulation, self-esteem, neurodivergence, chronic health concerns, or experiences that have not always been recognised by others. I work well with people who want a thoughtful, collaborative space to understand themselves, make sense of patterns, and feel less alone with what they carry. Together, we can explore what is happening now, how past experiences may still be affecting you, and what may help you feel clearer and steadier.

Do you experience anxiety, depression, grief, emptiness or anger? Do you feel alone or overwhelmed by these feelings ? Most people do and most people feel they have no other option but to stay feeling that way. The truth is that everyone will experience difficulties and difficult situations either in their personal or work life. Some are harder to deal with on your own. A friendly, experienced, listening ear can really make a positive difference to your life.

My ideal client is someone who feels disconnected, whether from themselves, others, or their environment. They might struggle with anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, but deep down, they seek growth and a more authentic life. They want to break free from old patterns, embrace their true feelings, and live more fully in the present. Their goal is to feel more alive, connected, and at peace with who they are. They're not just solving problems; they're on a journey to discover and embrace their true selves.

It’s possible to understand yourself quite well, and still feel completely stuck. You might be carrying something that's hard to name, a sense that your body knows something your mind hasn't caught up with yet. That you've been coping for so long it’s become the only gear you have, or that the life you've built doesn't quite fit. Perhaps you're navigating burnout, questions of identity or sexuality, the weight of your relationships, or something that's never quite had space to be felt. My work starts wherever you are - you don't need the right words or a clear plan to start.

Divorce Counsellors
How does therapy for people affected by a divorce work?
Individuals may feel a number of emotions following a divorce, such as shock, guilt, grief, anger, and fear. Therapists offer a non-judgmental space for individuals to talk about what they’ve experienced and process their emotions. Therapists will help clients develop coping strategies. They can also help a client rebuild their sense of self and self-worth and talk about what a happier future might look like.

What’s the most common type of therapy following a divorce?
There are several types of therapy that may be useful for divorce, including cognitive behavioural, acceptance and commitment, solution-focused brief, and mindfulness-based therapies. Many therapy types are talk-therapy based, which is typically the most popular option for individuals dealing with divorce. Cognitive behavioural therapy is a widely-used talk therapy, however, there’s no specific therapy type that’s designed to help people with divorce, and different types will work depending on the person.

When should an individual seek help due to a divorce?
When the feelings of a divorced individual, or an individual going through the process of divorce, begin to disrupt healthy daily functioning, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not performing at work due to problems with anxiety or motivation, if they’re no longer seeing friends due to feelings of shame, or if they’re not properly taking care of themselves as a result of depression, speaking to a professional could help.

How do you encourage someone to go to therapy due to a divorce?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the individual while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Sharing how the individual appears to be suffering, and what effects it has on them or on their children, should be done with compassion and empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
