I am a Principal Lead Clinical Psychologist and Psychodynamic Psychotherapist. My approach centres on understanding a person’s individual experience of the world and the problems they’ve come to live with. This involves us working together to try to understand the particular meaning of one’s difficulties and troubling feelings and how and why such distressing experiences have occurred at this point in life. Such understandings often help people feel less troubled and ‘stuck’, for example with depression, anxiety or traumatic experiences, clearing the way for feeling more settled in oneself and an ability to make changes.
