I also have a special interest in working with people with psychosis and unusual experiences and much of my pre-training experience was in this area.
We will spend some time getting to know each other to create a safe and relaxed space, to help you talk freely about your experiences. We may talk about what has brought you to therapy, as well as what is important to you and what you would like from the sessions. I will be interested in hearing about various different aspects of your life.

I have 9 years of experience working with clients experiencing a range of difficulties including complex trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, psychosis, OCD, relationship difficulties, bereavement, and PTSD.
Welcome! Thank you for landing here.
The decision to begin or restart therapy is a brave one, and finding a therapist you connect to and feel safe with is important. Therapy is a protected space to explore your identity, experiences, thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgmental environment with care, compassion and kindness.
I believe that people and emotions are complex and the world we live in is messy and chaotic. For that reason many people may not identify with labels or diagnoses, which is completely understandable. I do not focus on diagnoses unless particularly helpful.

My experience spans psychosis therapy, autism care, and career training, using psychoanalysis to explore unconscious dynamics and support lasting change
Life’s uncertainties and challenges can often feel overwhelming, leaving you with feelings of anxiety, confusion, or stagnation.
You may have a specific reason for seeking therapy—perhaps anxiety, a sense of disconnection, or recurring challenges in relationships. Alternatively, you might be experiencing a more general unease, a feeling that something isn’t quite right, even if you can’t quite identify why. Many of us struggle with the weight of expectations—from family, society, or even ourselves—and find it difficult to live in a way that feels like our own.

I specialise in Trauma (including PTSD), Psychosis, Bipolar, Anxiety Spectrum problems, Depression, Bereavement, with over 11 yrs.
You may experience unexpected disruption, chronic conditions, major life upheaval, triggering of past experiences, bereavement, and any of these could create anxiety, trauma or depression. Understanding could fall away, your support system could become unhelpful, anti-depressants may not be effective and your coping mechanisms may not work. You may feel overpowered by your circumstances and perhaps seek support and reinforcement as you experience distress. You may want your complex issues to be contained and get some tools and techniques to cope. Perhaps you may just like to confide in someone and share your experience.

MSc with distinction in Early Psychosis.
I am a registered Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) Practitioner Psychologist, and am on the British Psychological Society Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS). I have been in Private Practice in Central London for nine years. Before spending ten years in full-time study and training in London universities and NHS Trusts to qualify as a psychologist, I spent a decade travelling, mainly around Asia, studying Eastern psychology and philosophy. Thus, I have a rich lens of psychological perspectives through which I understand and work with the mind. Psychoanalytic thinking underpins my approach to therapy.

Life can become overwhelming, confusing, and difficult to manage. Experiences such as loss, bereavement and major life changes like a medical crisis can make us lose our sense of self and purpose. Depression, anxiety and personality disorders can distort our sense of self, rob us off our full personal potential and quality of life leaving us feeling depleted. Therapy is a place to regain and restore your sense of self and purpose and to help you turn these experiences to an opportunity to grow.

There are many reasons that bring people to therapy and the hard part is trying to find the right therapist for you. There are so many of us and some of the terms we use might be even more confusing and weird sounding. It doesn't have to be like that though. As a fully qualified and registered psychotherapist i see therapy as an opportunity to talk about whatever is troubling you in total confidence. As your therapist i won't be telling you what to do, however we will explore the conflicts and dilemmas you have and really look at what it means to "BE" you and have a greater understanding of your unique way of being in the world.

Psychosis Counsellors
What’s the most effective treatment for psychosis?
The most effective treatment for psychosis is coordinated specialty care. In this model, a team of professionals works with a patient to address all aspects of the underlying disorder. This approach incorporates individual or group therapy, employment and education support, family support and education, medication management (which often involves low doses of antipsychotics), and case management to facilitate problem-solving as needed.
When should people seek treatment for psychosis?
People should seek immediate treatment at the earliest indication of psychosis. Symptoms include delusions, hallucinations, disorganized or blocked speech, and agitated body movements. Early signs that a person may be developing a disorder that will lead to psychosis include suspiciousness of others, memory problems and distractibility, an inability to think clearly, rapid or nonsensical speech, withdrawal from friends or family, aggression toward others, and sensitivity to bright lights or noises.
What if psychosis is left untreated?
Without treatment, psychosis can have significant repercussions, including injuries, job loss, homelessness, financial or legal trouble, ruptured relationships, and suffering for the person and their family. While early treatment for psychosis often yields the best results, there is no point past which it becomes useless to seek treatment. At any point, treatment can make a difference.
How do I get someone else to seek treatment for psychosis?
It’s extremely difficult to watch a loved one suffer from hallucinations, delusions, and other elements of psychosis—sometimes exacerbated by their fears of treatment. Have a conversation with them in a quiet space and maintain a calm, supportive tone. Share your concerns about behaviors you’ve observed, suggest treatment, and explain the potential benefits. Listen carefully to their responses. The person may not be ready after one conversation, but with time, they may come around.
