My key areas of focus are Trauma, Addiction, and Spirituality.
I work with the latest methods that do not invite re-traumatisation and allows safe processing of difficult experiences. I offer meditation and self-compassion practices, which have many benefits including developing an inner ally and a greater ability to connect to everyday joy. I also offer 'walk and talk' counselling in green spaces.

As a clinical psychologist with two doctoral degrees (PhD and Clinical Psychology), I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and trauma-focused therapies including Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET).
Life can throw many challenges at us and affect us in many different ways. These might include being troubled by painful memories from difficult past experiences, struggling in relationships, caught in cycles of worry and anxiety or low mood, or constantly feeling not good enough. These experiences can make it feel difficult to cope and might leave you feeling unmotivated, unfulfilled, or like you are living a life directed by worry and fear rather than your values. I am here to provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space to explore these difficulties and support you to navigate a way out of them.

I specialise in working with those suffering with past trauma from relationship situations
I am trained as an Existential Psychotherapist, qualifying from Regents University. I work with clients to examine the world around them, including looking at their life choices and what has influenced and led them to those choices. I hope to empower the client in whatever life path they might be on and help them to explore their place in the world and the relationships in their life. I work by helping the client to explore their life path, where they can consider what has influenced their choices and discuss if there are any regrets or expectations within their current life. By examining the impact of past choices on current life

My work in the NHS supports adults from all different cultures and life experiences with challenges, particularly trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues.
My work integrates mindfulness, psychodynamic thinking about how early life shapes us, the mind–body connection, trauma theory, and engagement with subtle implicit experiences using the creative process. You don't need any experience in creating art or to consider yourself creative to participate in art therapy. Sometimes people prefer to stay with talking.

I utilise other modalities like Emotionally Focused Therapy (Couples and Family) or EMDR ( trauma) dependent on your needs.
you have ended up here... so let me just say that whatever you are going through can be surmounted... whatever need, issue or goal you have, you have all the resources you need to reach there... and I am confident that I can collaborate with you and help you get to that 'place' on the other side whereas this need, issue or goal can either be gone, managed or achieved...

This is why my work is Trauma Focused.
True growth requires us to develop a true adult self. The strength of our adult self is determined by how present we can be in our bodies. I will teach you various ways of being present, using imagery, breathing, body sensations.

I know how hard it can be to reach out and take the first step when you need help. A problem can become so large that it takes over most of your life. It can be something from the past that refuses to stay buried or a current situation that you can't move beyond. Whether it's depression, anxiety, bereavement, stress or a relationship breaking down, you can't see a way out and you feel overwhelmed. Sometimes it's different, you've reached a point in your life when you know that something needs to change, or maybe change is being forced on you. You feel trapped or stuck. You want to live life, but don't know how.

I practice Gestalt Therapy, a creative, experiential, and body-based approach that supports reconnection with your authentic self. As awareness develops, we can begin to understand how old patterns may be shaping your relationships, work, or sense of purpose.

I work with clients presenting with anxiety disorders like GAD, PTSD, SAD and depressive disorders.
The people I work with often present with anxiety and depressive disorders. They experience negative thoughts as very adhesive and engage in repetitive worry and depressive rumination that seems hard to control. They often focus intensely on their thoughts and symptoms and have reduced their activities, avoided situations, or otherwise modified their behaviour to manage their experiences. Previous therapy may not have helped. They want to gain a better understanding of their problems and the reasons they persist and receive clear guidance on how to target these factors with brief, focused, evidence-based therapy.
