My integrative approach has helped clients deal with • Low self-esteem/insecurities • Anxiety/stress & depression • Mid-life crisis/life transitions • Relationship difficulties • Identity crisis • Family problems • Attachment issues, avoidant, anxious attachment • Issues from the past impacting the here and now • Addictions • Sexuality
Relationships play a crucial role in our lives, especially romantic ones. But do you find yourself repeating the same behaviour patterns? Are you drawn to partners who aren’t right for you or even toxic? Perhaps you experience anxiety in relationships, always worrying, "Why haven’t they called?" Or maybe you feel suffocated by a partner’s neediness, leaving you yearning for space. Or do you find it difficult to set boundaries, letting your partners take advantage of you? You're not alone if you feel vulnerable in relationships and struggle to assert yourself. I can help.

My approach is integrative which means I can work with many different approaches & techniques to find the best way that suits you.
You might be struggling with difficult feelings like anxiety or depression, a painful loss, relationship issues or unhelpful behaviour patterns and need some support understanding what is going on for you. Clients who have difficulty navigating the world typically have not had sufficient recognition from important relationships which is the first step towards experiencing change & feeling better. Underlying my training and work is a commitment to diversity and inclusion and I encourage an environment where my clients can be themselves without feeling shame or embarrassment.

I work as an integrative therapist which means that I blend different therapies together to suit each individual person.
I have worked in therapy services for nearly 15 years and qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2015. During this time I have worked in a variety of settings, ranging from working with people with mild-moderate depression or anxiety to working with people who have needed care in a hospital setting. Through these experiences I have learnt how to tailor the therapy approach to suit each individual person based on their current struggles, their life stage, and their life goals. I understand how daunting it can be to ask for help and approach my work with kindness, curiosity and compassion.

I use an integrative approach, recognising the complexity of your experiences, values, and goals.
Life can feel overwhelming at times—whether it’s the relentless pressure of a high-stakes career, grappling with loss, or struggling to fully accept yourself. Everyone faces moments of uncertainty, anxiety, and challenge. Whatever you're going through, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m a trained counsellor with extensive experience in the financial services sector, where stress and burnout are very familiar. However, my practice is not just for those working in high-pressure careers. I also provide support for anyone dealing with trauma, bereavement, loss, anxiety, belonging, phobias, and other wellbeing challenges.

I practice an integrative approach, which means I adapt my therapeutic style to suit your needs and presenting issues.
As you consider finding a therapist, it's crucial to find someone who understands your unique story and makes you feel comfortable. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your concerns and difficult experiences with ease. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, loneliness, or anger, tackling these issues alone can be overwhelming and even frightening. With therapy, you can start to rebuild that sense of connection with yourself. I believe that creating a safe space where you can be open and honest helps you explore and concur the issues that you feel are holding you back.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I bring together different styles of therapy so that each therapeutic relationship can be tailored to the person I am working with.
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist. Therapy offers you a space to think about where you are in your life and where you’d like to be. I believe that therapy can help you live a more authentic and meaningful life. I offer a warm and supportive space where you can share what has brought you to therapy. People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons; all are valid. Perhaps you are feeling depressed, anxious, angry, stuck or suffering from low self-esteem. You might be struggling with your sexuality or gender identity. Perhaps you are feeling dissatisfied with your relationships with friends, partners or work colleagues.

What is integrative therapy?

Integrative therapy is a type of therapy that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of the individual client. By merging elements of different treatments, an integrative therapist aims to offer a more flexible approach than those who practice just one type of therapy.

How does integrative therapy work?

Integrative therapy approaches a client’s mental, physical, and emotional health in a holistic way to discover the sources of their unhealthy behaviour patterns or other challenges and considers the approach most likely to lead to improvement. Among the techniques an integrative therapist may practice are cognitive-behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, art or music therapy, psychodynamic therapy, breathwork, family systems therapy, gestalt therapy, and trauma-informed therapy. An integrative therapist regularly evaluates the client’s progress and is prepared to pivot to a different approach if progress stalls.

How long does integrative therapy last?

As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for integrative therapy; people who find they are making progress typically continue until they feel they’ve addressed the issues that spurred them to seek treatment. New patients should understand that it may take some time for a therapist to land on a treatment approach that best meets their needs, but once they do, they should expect sessions to extend for a number of months, typically including at least 12 sessions.

How effective is integrative therapy?

There are hundreds of types of talk therapy, and research shows that while they vary in form, goals, and frequency, many if not all can produce similarly successful outcomes. But a single approach does not always deliver the greatest, or speediest, benefit, and so even therapists primarily trained in one model will use tools, language, techniques, or exercises from others to shape an effective treatment plan.
