Hi there. I provide face-to-face and online counselling (from £55) with the first session free of charge. Together, we can work on helping you cope with what's going on in your life right now, and take time to explore how you might feel better about yourself. My approach is broadly 'psychodynamic', which means we pay close attention to the feelings and beliefs that we hold about ourselves and others, and which have typically taken shape at some earlier time in our lives. We can quickly become stuck in set ways of 'being me', without realising that all of us have a capacity to change in all kinds of unexpected ways.

Life can be unpredictable at times. It can change without prior notice or knowledge of what is about to happen. This at times can be manageable, but on occasion, we can feel confused, or overwhelmed with what is before us. I am Swar, a psychotherapist working in private practice. I offer therapy to support individuals in the safety of a contained therapeutic relationship and help them think about and make sense of their difficulties and what is happening in their lives to grow and thrive.

Hello and welcome! I am a qualified and fully accredited psychotherapist, working from offices in Central London (near Bond Street tube) and WimbIedon. I work with clients facing a range of difficult issues in their lives. This is usually long-term work, but can also be short-term depending on needs. For me, the journey of psychotherapy is about deeper self-knowledge so that you gain the confidence to reveal more of your authentic self in the outside world. It is a fascinating (though at times painful) journey to find your feelings, voice, strength and qualities.

At times, we all feel overwhelmed, uncertain or stuck, and have a sense that there is more out there and within us, to be discovered and brought to life, than we are engaging with. The aim of my therapy sessions is to enable you to get back in touch with yourself. To understand what is holding you back; how you can break the cycles of anxiety, monotony and the roles you feel you are stuck in. Whether you are sad, lonely, frustrated, uncertain, ashamed, guilty or confused, we can work together to support you through it so that you are not just surviving but thriving.
