As a high achiever you are used to success. You work hard, you enjoy work and you have meaningful relationships, but something is missing. You've tried all manner of ways to fill this gap - working more, working harder, prioritising your personal life, your health, your relationships - but it never quite fits. You wonder how you can achieve at work, but not in other areas of your life? Will it always be this exhausting? What if you could ditch the hustle and find a different way to show up in your life, your work, your relationships?

I integrate therapeutic approaches such as the Internal Family Systems model as well as my coaching skills, which bring in problem solving and goal focused approaches, to your therapy session.
I am a Level 1 trained IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapist. IFS looks at our internal ecosystem and how our various parts impact us. Whether that be our inner critic, our fear of vulnerability or an anxious part, they all have a reason for doing what they do and together we can explore their roots and begin to lessen the impact that they have on our lives

Internal Family Systems ( IFS) is currently the model that most deeply informs my practice.
As a Clinical Psychologist specialising in health psychology, I work with adults navigating the emotional impact of cancer, chronic illness, and life transitions. I also support people experiencing anxiety, low mood, trauma, and self-esteem difficulties. I integrate evidence-based therapies with an appreciation that emotional experiences are held not only in our thoughts, but also in our bodies, relationships and ways of moving through the world. Together we can gently explore both what is happening internally and how it is being experienced physically, helping you develop self-compassion and a stronger sense of connection.

Are you a diagnosed or self diagnosed neurodivergent individual always anxious, feeling low and only ever imagining what a different life can look like? Are you tired of repeating the same patterns in life and ready for change? Continuously feeling misunderstood by others and sometimes even yourself? Do you often wonder who you are and what you really want in life? Our life experiences can make us feel like there is always something to worry about, we often worry about a yesterday we will never get back and a tomorrow that is not promised. We can work together to find happiness in the present.

I understand seeking psychological support can feel scary but my approach is open, warm and accepting. I work collaboratively with people, treating all information in the strictest confidence. My aim is to empower each person to develop their own skills, building resilience to manage difficulties, in the present and going forward.

Our sessions are primarily conversational, but, I sometimes use imagery, chair work, mindfulness, breathing techniques, & subpersonalities (similar to IFS).
Are you feeling exhausted by life’s demands? Prehards you’ve always felt alone. Maybe you feel emotionally overwhelmed right now. Life can be difficult, and some experiences are profoundly painful. While everyone's challenges are unique, asking for help is always nerve-wracking; it takes a leap of faith to reach out! Still, therapy can change your life. I’m an experienced and fully qualified therapist registered with the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists. I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy sessions for adults of varying lengths, in either French (mother tongue) or English, according to your needs.

Hello, I'm Zheng, a Clinical Psychologist of Chinese heritage, trained in the UK, with extensive experience working in the NHS. If you're exploring therapy, I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where we can work together to make sense of what you’re going through. I take a collaborative, holistic approach, influenced by my deep interest in culture, philosophy, and spirituality. I'm mindful of how aspects like ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, and cultural background shape someone’s experience of the world. These parts of you are welcome in our work together, and I hold space for them with thoughtfulness and care.

To support this process, I integrate principles from Compassion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Genogram and Family Systems work.
We often learn from a very young age that the price of maintaining a connection with others is pruning parts of ourselves away while strengthening others. We might learn our needs, our desires, pleasures, or our joy must go just to keep those around us close. Unfortunately this can begin so early on that we may even lose track of who we were before we began adapting. While these strategies helped us survive, those hidden parts, and the ways we learned to relate to them, stay with us, eventually resurfacing as restlessness, overwhelm, or a type of disconnect from our bodies - or as the very ‘problem’ that brought you here.

I am a London-based UKCP and BACP accredited Integrative fully qualified Psychotherapist. I am also a trained coach so weave these two skills into my practice. I specialise in relationships – the most critical being the relationship we have with ourselves, but also our partner, siblings, parents, our children, friends and work colleagues. I also specialise in helping people in highly demanding jobs. I used to work in corporate consultancy and so know first-hand the stresses of such an unforgiving career. Thus, I am more likely to ‘get’ the struggles of what it is like in your role.

Life can bring us into contact with parts of ourselves that feel hard to name, carrying emotions, desires, identities, or experiences that don't fit neatly into the world around us. We’re often pushed from one demand to the next, stretched into shapes that don’t feel authentic, urged to want more, achieve more, be more, and somehow be perfect, no matter the cost. Perhaps you're carrying shame about your sexuality or kink life, navigating the emotional landscape of a BDSM dynamic, or simply longing for a space where you don't have to edit yourself before walking in.

Love is complex. We can all encounter relational or intimacy struggles as we try to find our place in the world romantically or sexually. Becoming comfortable with who we are or with others can be challenging. Modern ideas on love include the freedom to choose the kind of relationship that works best for us. Contemporary relationships defy conventions, and in today’s world, where diversity intersects with all aspects of life, understanding love requires a deep dive into the societal, neurobiological, and the emotional landscapes that shape it.

My name is Ella and I am a therapist based in London. You may be struggling with anxiety, social anxiety, stress, depression, overwhelm, feelings of loneliness, significant loss and grief. Maybe you are struggling with important relationships in your life. Perhaps your struggle is not that clear and you have a feeling that something isn't quite right. Experiences such as anxiety, stress and depression can be symptoms of a deeper unease. Over time emotions can become trapped or inaccessible to us, and often we harbour hidden thoughts and feelings that have never been said out loud. Together, we can help you find clarity and relief.

You may be doing your best to keep going, but inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that don’t make sense -which is exhausting. I’m Stefani, a warm yet dynamic therapist. I work with people to feel steadier and more connected to themselves. I support a broad range of concerns, particularly anxiety (racing thoughts, tension, a sense of foreboding), OCD (intrusive thoughts, compulsions, confusing rituals), and low self-esteem (self-criticism, people-pleasing, feeling undervalued). I also help with perfectionism, over-achieving, addictions, and neurodivergent ways of thinking, processing, and sensing the world.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Counsellors
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
