You may be at a stage in your life where you are feeling disillusioned, depressed or anxious and unable to see the best way forward. Loss of sexual desire and a feeling of falling out of love can leave couples wondering whether they have a future. It may be that life changes such as starting a family or moving country have brought up differences which feel hard to address. As an individual you may be feeling lonely, stuck or unfulfilled, perhaps having trouble keeping relationships or jobs and wondering where you are going wrong.

Welcome, I am an HCPC-accredited Arts Psychotherapist working with adults (18+) in Old Street. Perhaps you have found yourself looking for support because you feel overwhelmed or anxious. Or, perhaps, you feel as if everything has become too weighty, too difficult to hold by yourself. I offer a space where you can rest, be heard and move at your own pace to understand and feel the complexity of your experiences, your internal world. Whether you are a professional, a creative, a parent, or a student, I meet you where you are, and together we can use the therapeutic process to find the answers that words alone often miss.

Counselling/Psychotherapy can help us understand better how we behave, what motivates us, and how past experiences can affect current behaviour. By expressing whatever is uppermost in our mind, feelings, thoughts, wishes, fears, memories and dreams can be explored within the safety of the therapeutic relationship. The aim being to enable us to find more appropriate ways of coping with our difficulties and to bring about changes in our thinking, feeling and behaviour. Through exploration therapy hopes to enable us to live a more fulfilling life and reach our full potential in the face of life's limitations.

Prior to my psychotherapy training I worked in banking in the City for more than twenty years. I have experienced at first hand the challenges that working long hours can present including with respect to mental and physical health and general work/life balance. My perspective on health is holistic, recognising the interdependence of physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. My own routine includes a daily meditation practice as well as regular cold immersion and I am a qualified Personal Trainer completing a course in Nutrition for Weight Management and Athletic Performance as part of my training.

I bring over 15 years' of experience in NHS and educational settings. I have knowledge of a range of mental health issues including mood conditions (such as depression), anxiety and stress, but also issues related to personal growth, relationships and belonging. I understand that deciding you would like to explore talking therapy is an important step and comes with a lot of questions, but perhaps two are key: 'will therapy be helpful?' and 'will my therapist understand me and make me feel at ease?'. It is important to me that therapy is a positive experience for you and you feel supported and helped throughout the process.

I’m an experienced and fully qualified therapist registered with the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists. I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy sessions for adults of varying lengths, in either French (mother tongue) or English, according to your needs.

Life at times can be challenging, people can often feel isolated and stuck in their struggles, confused about what to do to change the things in life that are troubling them. Reaching out can be hard, trusting others can feel even more difficult. It's at these times that therapy can make a difference. I am a sex-positive, kink-knowledgeable psychotherapist and am familiar working with a range of relationship models and gender dynamics. I work with people from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, including individuals from straight, queer, poly and kink communities, sex workers, and people who identify across the gender spectrum.

People pursue therapy for a variety of reasons because they have identified specific goals or issues they want to work on. Others may be encouraged by family, friends, or medical professionals to seek help. Re-evaluating your life with a therapist is a large part of becoming self-aware of your internal world and being able to move forward. Therapy also helps you uncover the root or foundation of difficulties and lets you gain insight into your patterns and behaviours to better understand your emotions.

Are distressing past experiences affecting you and you can no longer ignore it? Have you ever had the chance to talk and process it, or tried and yet feel stuck so patterns repeat? Are things not changing no matter how hard you try? After 12 years in mental health care, working in NHS trauma and psychotherapy specialist services + private practice, I am a senior counselling psychologist specialising in trauma. I support people to rebuild after trauma and adversity, which can manifest as (complex) PTSD, emotional dysregulation, family and relational challenges, high levels of self-criticism and shame, and other challenges.

Most people want to feel good within themselves and within their lives. I don’t think this is too much to ask. If obstacles have previously prevented this, it does not mean the future need be the same. Change is always possible and often we need a helping hand. I am passionate about collaboration as the most empowering route on a therapeutic journey. You have the strength and the answers and together we can make sense of any hurt, obstacle or fear.

Our early experiences profoundly shape our emotional lives, influencing our thoughts, reactions, and relationships as adults. We often find ourselves repeating unhelpful patterns or struggling to understand the root of our difficulties. Psychotherapy offers a dedicated space to explore these challenges.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to face it alone. I offer a warm, attentive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what’s going on in your life. As a humanistic psychotherapist, I work collaboratively and at your pace, helping you explore your thoughts, feelings and patterns with curiosity. Together we make careful sense of what has shaped you and how you have come to relate to yourself and others. From this deeper understanding, new possibilities can emerge, creating greater freedom in how you meet your life now.
