I offer afternoon and evening sessions, in person at my Bethnal Green office, and online via Zoom.
Perhaps you've spent years wondering why you never quite feel good enough. Perhaps you keep repeating the same relationship patterns, struggle to let people get close, or find yourself turning to things that help you escape, even when you know they're making life harder. Perhaps life looks fine from the outside. But you feel as though you're living behind a mask, afraid that if people really knew you, they wouldn't accept you. Therapy offers a space to understand those experiences, see yourself differently, and begin building a life that no longer revolves around surviving.

I have some space for in-person sessions and offer the convenience and flexibility of online therapy.
Psychodynamic therapy is a way of thinking together and finding ways through painful and overwhelming feelings you may be experiencing. By thinking about these experiences in the context of early relationships, and how they return and emerge in the present, you may find new perspectives on how you feel about yourself and the world around you.

I offer therapy sessions in-person, via telephone or online.
Maybe you keep finding yourself in the same painful patterns — in relationships, at work, or in how you feel about yourself — and you're not sure why. Perhaps you're neurodivergent or highly sensitive, and the world often feels like too much. Or you've tried talking things through before, but something deeper still hasn't been reached. You don't need to have the words for it yet. That sense that something needs attention is enough of a place to start — and you're very welcome here.

Psychotherapy supports you to find a deeper connection with yourself and cope with the challenging parts of living. Our sessions are a supportive environment for you to speak without censoring yourself and I will listen with an open heart and mind. Ultimately I believe you hold the answers, and I actively avoid assigning labels or pathologising what you are experiencing. Instead I'm here to listen, offer an outside perspective on the issues you bring, and support you to get curious about yourself.

Bethnal Green, London E2
I currently have availability on some weekdays and weekday evenings, both online and in person.
I have experience of working closely with people with enduring and complex mental health difficulties, suicidal ideation, troubling relational patterns and people recovering from grief and loss. I use music as a tool to facilitate the building of the therapeutic relationship, and listening, songwriting, lyric analysis and composing can all be incredibly accessible ways of starting to explore what is troubling you. Equally, sometimes we may spend most sessions talking. Clients do not need to have any prior musical experience, and I am very happy working with children, young people and adults.

People enter therapy for many reasons. Sometimes it's very specific but many times it’s hazy and unclear what we actually want. We can just get stuck in the reeds of daily life. Is therapy the answer? I think so. My guarantee is a commitment to get down and do the work with you in your search for a better life. I'm not a traditional counsellor. I like to be honest with my observations but primarily I am here to listen and help you find your own path.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
