Have you been entertaining the idea of therapy for some time, or is this an impulse search? Have you asked yourself questions such as: “Why me?”, “Who am I?”, “How did I get here?”, “Is this the rest of my life?”, "Is this really happening to me", "Why does this always happen to me?", “How do I get where I want to be?” Have you or others have labelled yourself as "down", "depressed", "anxious" or "stressed"? Are you worried about feeling a certain way, or not living the life you were meant to live? Do you carry on your shoulders more than you bargained for and feel you can't share with anyone? I am here for you.

I use a combination of psychodynamic, attachment-based and Jungian approaches to help individuals think about their relationships. Relationships can be where we feel most alive and creative — and also where we feel abandoned, over-responsible, jealous, ashamed or trapped in repeating patterns. If you are struggling with fears and anxieties around intimacy, or feel that despite everything you give something essential is not returned; if a recent break-up is keeping you hostage, or you struggle to trust closeness without losing yourself, it can help to have a safe space where these patterns are thought about rather than acted out.

I am a masters level qualified, experienced psychotherapist working with individuals and couples. My approach offers a space for you to explore your experiences at your own pace, within a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment. Together, we’ll gently make sense of what’s happening for you now and begin to uncover what might be keeping you feeling stuck, with the aim of opening up the possibility for change. At the core of my work is the belief that the therapeutic relationship is central to healing. It’s through a genuine, trusting connection that meaningful and lasting change can take place.

If you’re here, you’re probably carrying a lot for yourself or for someone you care about. I work with children, young people and adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or are going through life changes. As an integrative counsellor, my approach is trauma-informed and relational. In practice, that means I draw on different therapeutic approaches to create a safe, collaborative space centred around individual needs. Together, we explore what sits beneath the worries and focus on practical steps that genuinely help in everyday life.

You may be in a moment of transition; something ending, shifting, or a growing sense that the old ways no longer fit. You might feel familiar patterns are on repeat, disconnected from yourself or others, or overwhelmed by strong emotions. Often, it’s when these feelings are most intense that people become most open to change. My clients come with deep questions about who they are and what they want, not just seeking relief but longing to feel more like themselves and move forward with honesty, clarity, and ease.

I am an experienced relationship therapist, supporting a wide range of couples and individuals to address their challenges and repair, grow and thrive. My core psychodynamic approach helps us understand patterns of behaviour based on past experiences and relationships. This unlocks valuable insight into why your interactions might feel repetitive or ‘stuck’, leading to greater understanding and empathy. I also use active strategies in the here-and-now to resolve conflict and improve communication. We will consider pre-existing strengths and resilience in your relationship, and use these to help you move forwards more positively.
