Thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Niki and I'm a Person-centred Counsellor. I am currently in Private Practice and work for First Step in Leicester. I work with adults and young people aged between 16 ad 18. I work with a wide range of issues including: relationship problems, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, health anxiety, grief/loss, ADHD and more. I have a lot of experience working with trauma and abuse.

Life is full of events, relationships, stresses and strains and all these impact on us in many different ways. It can affect all the important things to us such as school, work, relationships and our own perception of ourselves. This can be tiring and overwhelming. Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be this way and I believe strongly that a person can benefit from having a space to discuss their feelings and develop ideas and strategies to improve their emotional wellbeing.
