About
I provide confidential, non-judgemental counselling to enable the client to deal with emotional difficulties which may be causing distress. Using empathy and congruence to help my client feel at ease, I endeavour to help them deal with any difficulties they may face. I have been providing face to face counselling for over 15 years. I have experience in working with depression, abuse, bereavement and sexuality. I have over 10 years experience working in schools. I’ve also got 2 years experience working with adults and students at University
I’ve had a lot of experience working with young people with Autism and have good understanding of helping them feel at ease in the counselling room. I’ve also had a lot of experience with working with people with anxiety. Helping them understand their triggers and supporting them with moving forward.
I understand the importance of making a client feel at ease. Showing compassion and understanding. Helping the person open up in a safe and confidential environment. Often a person can feel misunderstood by those around them. I endeavour to help a person gain more confidence in who they are and enable them to Iive their life to their full potential.
