Hello
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile,
My name is Leanna and I am Integrative Relational Psychotherapist
I work with individuals and couples who may be grappling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem, work related stress, family issues, or a sense of feeling stuck.
The people I work with often come to therapy when something feels difficult to carry alone. They may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, anxious, low in mood, or trying to navigate a change or challenge in their life. They are often looking for a space to understand themselves better and make sense of what is happening beneath the surface.
I work alongside each person to understand their experiences, not just their symptoms. Together, we explore what has shaped them, what they want to change, and what might help them move forward in a way that feels authentic and manageable.

I work with adults who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck or uncertain about their lives. Clients often come to therapy when they are struggling with relationships, stress, burnout, trauma, low self-esteem, life transitions, or patterns that no longer feel helpful. Some may have spent years managing alone and are ready to understand themselves more deeply. Together, we explore your experiences, including how the past may shape the present, in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space, helping you develop greater resilience, clarity and self-understanding while creating the opportunity for meaningful change.

I'm an accredited integrative counsellor, trained to listen and support you as we look at what is keeping you where you are and look at what you’d like to change. I have helped clients with issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, loss, trauma and also helped clients who have wanted someone to hear what they are currently living through – for example, relationship difficulties or not feeling like themselves any more. Maybe you're feeling more anxious than usual, maybe life is not feeling as you'd like. Once you have an awareness of what's happening for you, we can explore your choices for changing things.

UKCP Accredited Psychotherapist and BACP Registered counsellor with 24 years experience. I use an integrative/relational approach, viewing each person as unique, and as such I use a coherent combination of therapeutic ideas and working relationship that will best suit you as an individual. This may involve looking at current difficulties, your past, clarifying and understanding your thoughts and behaviours and helping you to understand and express your emotions. In this way we will work together to find a way through problems that are troubling you to negotiate a more satisfying and less stressful way of living.

Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. You might be struggling in your relationships, feeling overwhelmed by work, questioning who you are, or facing a major life change.
From the outside, you may seem to be coping, holding everything together for everyone else. But inside, you're wondering how much longer you can keep going like this.
Therapy will help you make sense of what's happening, understand the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and help you move forward with greater confidence, clarity and self-belief.

Everyone experiences a wide range of feelings in life. You may be experiencing difficulties at home, work, college or university, with relationships, health and other life struggles. You may have reached a point in life where you need more than a friendly ear and I appreciate that seeing a counsellor can seem overwhelming. My aim is to provide a professional, but warm, confidential non-judgemental, caring, safe environment where you and I can explore your difficulties together. I place a lot of emphasis on our relationship, with us getting to know each-other and working collaboratively to improve your wellbeing.

My name is Maiia, and I'm a psychotherapist offering private therapy sessions online, over the phone or in person (you choose!).
Life can be challenging. Sometimes it feels unfair, unjust even. You might feel lonely, misunderstood or judged. I want you to know that reaching out takes real courage, and you've already taken the first step by being here.
I won't promise you a magic pill that takes away your worries overnight. But here's what I can promise: I'll do my best to understand what it's like to be you. I'll stand by you. I'll be your best ally as we work through whatever you're facing right now.

I’m a strong believer that, in the words of Nelson Mandela “there is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living” – yet sometimes life is really quite tough and we find ourselves struggling and this ideal seems far from our reality. You may find yourself feeling emotionally overwhelmed, anxious or lonely. Or, you may have been struggling for some time and haven’t found the motivation to address it but now that struggle may be feeling a little bigger.

You may look like you’re coping on the outside, but inside you feel exhausted. Perhaps you feel disconnected from yourself, overwhelmed by emotions, or trapped by memories that continue to affect your daily life. You may have tried hard to move forward, but certain experiences still seem to have a hold on you. Whether your difficulties stem from childhood experiences or events in adulthood, therapy can help you understand what has happened and begin moving towards healing.
