I can help with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, managing stress - many issues feel lighter just by talking them over with a trained counsellor who really 'gets' you. The process itself starts to relieve the burden.
If there's a residue of pain from earlier in your life that is causing you problems now - maybe relationship issues, or perhaps you can't grieve for someone you've lost, or you simply feel that life is too much - we can work with that too.
You're the boss in this relationship, so you decide what you want to get out of it - but maybe a life lived in colour and ease would be a good aim.

I am also currently undergoing further training in somatic trauma work and body psychotherapy so my approach also includes the mind/body connection.
My primary training is in a holistic and transpersonal model of therapy, which means I work with the whole person - mind, body, feelings and hold the perspective that the problems we face also hold potential for something new to emerge.
I use an integrative and relational approach and believe therapy should adapt to meet each client’s needs. This means our sessions might sometimes involve deep discussions on concepts and theories, while at other times, we may focus more on emotions, or imagery, or something which feels more ‘coach-like’ in style.

Everybody should have a Victoria. I've heard this from many clients over the years. My clients feel seen, heard and truly supported through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Unlike some therapy and counselling approaches, I believe that just talking about what's going on for you isn't going to cut it. So instead of just talking, we will work with a variety of interventions, tools and techniques - together - on your issue. My goal is not just to manage your problem, but to get as close to resolving it as possible.

Hi I'm Lisa.
You might be feeling anxious or overthinking everything, caught in cycles of self-criticism or doubt. Perhaps you’re navigating loss, grief, or a major life change — or you’ve lost touch with a sense of purpose. Many people I work with struggle with relationships, boundaries, or identity, asking questions like “Who am I?” or “What do I really want?”
Together, we can begin to make sense of these experiences and find a way forward that feels true to you.
I trained in psychosynthesis and start from the premise that everyone has an inner wisdom calling them to personal truth and congruence.

I am passionate about supporting children and adolescents through the multilayered implications of neurodiversity, trauma, and Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA). My mission is to help young people make sense of themselves and feel empowered to live as their best, most authentic selves. This expertise is built on a foundation of continual professional development and, most importantly, lived experience—both as a child myself and as a mum to a child navigating these exact challenges. I understand the daily reality beyond the theory, providing a safe, empathetic space where your child can feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

If you don’t know where to start or find it too daunting to tackle alone, I’m here to help process what’s painful or confusing.

Somatic Counsellors
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.
Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.
Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.
What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
