Thinking about starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re already struggling. For over 14 years I’ve supported people through periods of change, challenge, and uncertainty in a range of helping roles. I’m an experienced & accredited Psychotherapist, registered with BPC and BACP, and I believe I can potentially help you. I offer a supportive, open, inclusive, and non-judgemental space where we can explore what’s going on for you, at your own pace. Therapy can help you to understand your issues and where they come from, develop ways of dealing with them, and become a more integrated and self aware person.

You may be experiencing a whole range of emotions that has brought you here. Whatever happens next, just know that it is ok to feel whatever you are feeling, and you don't have to go through it alone. I believe that building a strong relationship between yourself, the client, and me, the counsellor, based on trust, openness, and honesty, is key to affecting change and growth within yourself, and it is at the heart of the work that we will do together. You are the expert in your own life, and I am here to help facilitate your own understanding of yourself in a space that is safe and free of judgement.

With over eight years of running my own private practice, I offer a warm, supportive and direct approach where you can explore what’s holding you back and begin to reconnect with your own strength. People who work with me often describe feeling more grounded, secure and more compassionate towards themselves. Clients also tend to gain new perspectives that help them move forward with clarity. My aim is to create a space where you can comfortably share what you are struggling with and where you feel genuinely supported, understood and begin to make changes that feel empowering and sustainable.

I'm a humanistic counsellor with over six years of experience working with people of diverse gender identities, relationship styles and sexualities, and particularly gay men. I am a trans and nonbinary ally, anti-fascist, anti-racist and a feminist. I work towards an anti-oppressive practice and educate myself around intersectionality and decolonialism. I'm Queer and Autistic and I work with anyone who feels I'm a good match for them, regardless of identity - you don't need to be part of a specific group. I work with people 18+ one to one. This can be for a fixed period, or until you feel the work is complete.

So, life seems particularly tough at the moment. Perhaps you are anxious about the future, or suffering with difficult memories from the past. Perhaps you have realised that the relationship patterns you have developed are no longer working for you and you would like to find a new way of connecting to your partner or others. Perhaps you need some practical guidance with a sex related problem. Primarily, I imagine you are here because you want someone to really listen to you and try to understand what it's like for you - and then, to support you to change things.
