I am a Systemic and Gestalt counsellor and a registered member of the BACP and I aim to offer a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their feelings. I work with adults and young people. Sometimes we all need help to cope with life's challenges. Therapy can provide the support and framework from which to begin gaining an understanding of yourself and your needs. Talking with a therapist can benefit us in many ways, including giving us a better understanding of our emotions. Therapy can also promote healthy coping mechanisms, improved relationships and achievement of goals.

As a Counselling Psychologist, registered with the HCPC, I recognise that there is not one approach to therapy that will suit everyone. Taking the first step to access therapy can be a nerve-wracking process. The most important indicator of therapeutic success is the relationship between client and therapist so do get in touch for a free phone consultation to see if I am the right therapist for you.

My name is Amy! I am often introduced to children and young people when they are at their most vulnerable and experiencing difficulties in their everyday life including school, friendships and homelife. This can affect the whole family and be deeply distressing. However, it is never too late to begin the healing process together and work creatively to help children find their way.

I offer in-person therapy in Lincoln and North Norfolk.
In my experience, we often come to therapy when we feel stuck in a way of living which has become increasingly difficult and painful to sustain. Perhaps you feel life is simply surviving not thriving; that you are lost, without purpose or passion; or that the future seems more scary than exciting. If any of this resonates with you, my existential approach will provide you with a safe place in which to explore and process any trauma in your past; pain in the present and anxiety about the future. Helping to bring the 'real you' out of hiding and find a more joyful, peaceful and authentic way of living.

I now have a private practice based in North Norfolk near Sheringham and provide in-person or online sessions.
For clients who have experienced trauma, I offer psychoeducation, emotional regulation techniques, meditation, breath work, and a somatic approach. Working with trauma can be more directive whilst being underpinned by the person-centred approach. I have an interest in neurodiversity and have an autistic-informed practice.

I'm both competent & experienced working online, in person & outdoors in nature.
EXPLORE - EXPERIENCE - ENGAGE - EMPOWER How we feel can impact on our world significantly. Talking through thoughts and feelings at our own pace can be a helpful way to explore what may lie at the root of pain and difficulty. My endeavour as a PERSON CENTRED NATURE THERAPIST is to work alongside you in finding your way back to a space of balance and wellbeing within. PERSON CENTRED therapy is at the very core of how I work therapeutically and NATURE deepens and inspires that process. Combining these approaches can be a way to explore thoughts and feelings and facilitate healing.

I offer online video sessions and in-person therapy from my BA6 office, with daytime and evening availability.
I’m a trauma- and attachment-informed therapist with a practice grounded in mindfulness, both as a therapeutic approach and a personal way of life. Mindfulness has helped me navigate my own challenges and continues to shape how I connect with others. I integrate evidence-based techniques and psychological insight to support emotional healing, resilience, and growth. My approach is inclusive, sex-positive, and affirming of all identities and relationship styles.

Hi - I offer in person and online sessions to suit you.
Hello - Are you feeling stuck? Unable to make decisions, no longer doing the things you used to enjoy, overwhelmed with worry? I am here to help with empathetic, friendly, professional support. Working together we can get a picture of what bothers you most, whether that is low self worth, procrastination or relationships which just aren't where you want them to be. Anxiety and depression can really get in the way but once we have agreed a goal we will work towards it, building a life that is more aligned with your values and aspirations. Finding the right therapist is important but so is taking that first step. Reach out.

Life can be difficult, and humans are complex beings. It’s not surprising we can end up feeling unhappy, lost or overwhelmed. Dealing with emotions is an important part of self-care and counselling can equip you with the awareness and tools to be kinder to yourself. People often choose to have therapy when things go wrong, but you don’t have to be in crisis.

I currently offer therapy primarily online, with a limited number of in-person sessions available over the weekend.
“Crying helps me slow down and obsess over the weight of life’s problems.” It’s a line I often return to because it speaks to something many of us were never taught - that emotions aren’t something to hide or push through, but a way of understanding ourselves better. If this feels too close to home for you, you may be used to carrying a lot quietly. From the outside, you might seem "fine", while inside you feel anxious, disconnected or unsure who you’re allowed to be. Culture, invisible pressures, and past experiences may still shape you. Our work is about creating a space where you no longer have to carry everything on your own.

Counselling and psychotherapy is about you: your concerns, and your wellbeing. We can talk about me, and what clients say about me later. But for now, let's establish how you can benefit from professional support...... Does any of this sound like you? "I want to reduce stress" "I feel anxious all the time" "I wish I was more confident and less critical about myself " "I want to feel optimistic instead of negative all the time" ...Or perhaps you want some direction in life, become more productive or improve your relationships?

Are you struggling with anxiety, or are you feeling depressed at times? Are you having relationships issues or family issues? Have you had a life transition such as redundancy, illness or bereavement, or been affected by an affair or betrayal? It may be that life is getting on top of you, and it may feel that there is no one to turn to help sort things out.

I offer both face-to-face and remote psychotherapy & counselling welcoming clients of every gender, sexuality, ethnicity, race, religion, disability and background.
Therapy facilitates the journey to find our unique sense of self and what that means. Many of us live according what we deem is expected of us, compromising our sense of who we really are. Life might have been good but we have been put off track. Life might have presented challenges. Until we allow ourselves to choose what is right and to reject what feels wrong, live according to our own needs whilst considering our own goals, we cannot be fulfilled or happy. I believe therapy empowers us to navigate our way to find who we really are and to live authentically.

A very warm welcome. Are you looking for a supportive, reflective space to work through your difficulties? Sometimes it’s hard to talk to family or friends and we need someone who offers a fresh perspective with warmth and understanding. Together we can explore whatever is holding you back and help you find a way to move beyond it. All topics are welcome. Currently many of my clients are interested in uncovering a better sense of who they are, or finding their own authentic voice or inner strength, rather than pleasing others.
