People seek counselling for many reasons which can make them feel: Unhappy, depressed, anxious, frightened, angry, frustrated, helpless, out of control, alone, inadequate, chaotic, confused, to name a few. Often we try to deal with these feelings ourselves by possibly putting them out of our minds, bottling them up and keeping 'a stiff upper lip' while the underlying problem remains unresolved and often find ourselves going round in circles. It is good to talk; talking things through can really help.
