This means that when appropriate, I may offer you the opportunity to explore your emotions by using art materials, or I may invite you to try movement meditations, visualisations or breathing techniques derived from Qigong.
I provide a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for adults navigating life’s challenges, from relationship concerns and life transitions to grief, anxiety, low self-esteem, and depression. With a specialism in bereavement counselling through my volunteer work with a bereavement charity in Greater London, I offer deep understanding and support for those experiencing loss. My background in legal, educational, and creative fields has also given me a unique perspective on workplace stress, burnout, perfectionism, impostor syndrome, and self-doubt.

I offer counselling, psychotherapy, and art therapy with a compassionate and trauma-informed approach.
A trauma-informed approach means that our therapeutic relationship is an important foundation on which to build safety, emotional regulation, and a safe space to explore the things affecting your life. This way of working explores how trauma is stored in the body and how it continues to affect thoughts, feelings, behaviours and relationships.

EMDR Therapy can be helpful for PTSD and Trauma, whether a one off incident or chronic trauma such as childhood abuse or neglect and many other mental health presentations, such as body dysmorphia, grief, self-esteem, chronic pain, anxiety, sexual assault, childhood neglect, domestic abuse and more. Many of these presentations can leave you feeling isolated, frustrated and helpless, by processing these via bilateral stimulation to a resolution, life can become more manageable and less triggering, allowing you to achieve your goals.

Welcome to my profile! Whether you’re feeling anxious or carrying things you’d like to work through, reaching out for support is always a step worth taking. So often, we convince ourselves we’re okay despite a major life change, a loss, or the pressures of a demanding lifestyle. We keep pushing forward until the cracks begin to show — sleepless nights, constant stress, strained relationships, or a noticeable dip in mood. If you’re ready for things to be different, I’ll guide you in transforming stuckness into momentum, self-doubt into self-trust, and anxiety into calm, helping you thrive with renewed confidence and purpose.

My journey into counselling began as a personal quest for healing . Through that journey, I discovered a profound passion for supporting others to navigate their own paths towards healing and resilience. In my practice, I offer a safe , supportive space where trauma survivors can explore their experiences, express their emotions, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. With empathy and understanding, I walk alongside my clients as they work through the complexities of trauma, offering support, guidance, and evidence-based techniques to facilitate healing and growth.

Life will always present us with challenges and difficult situations. Sometimes these challenges can get on top of us and we stop living and enjoying our lives as fully as we would like. This is where counselling can be of help. Counselling is about offering a supportive relationship in a safe and confidential environment to talk through whatever is concerning them. Counselling is not about giving advice and counsellors can never be experts in other people’s lives. Counselling is about helping people find their unique strengths to work through a particular issue in the best way for them so that they can live a happy life.

I am aware that many people communicate on a very superficial level, frightened they may be judged, won’t be liked, or don’t fit in. I fully believe we all deserve to be the best version of ourselves that we can be. By talking with me, I hope you will discover your full and true potential, which may enable you to make healthier choices and create positive changes. I am passionate about my work and consider it both a responsibility and a privilege to be actively engaged in my client’s exploration of their life and I offer you my full commitment and dedication

How does art therapy work?

The process of making art allows people to express themselves. Art-making can take many forms, such as painting, collage, or sculpting. The therapist asks questions that the work elicits, such as how the person felt while creating their piece, or if any memories surfaced that they can discuss. The therapist will then work with the patient to process their experience, understand themselves better, and work toward change.

Does art therapy help with trauma?

Art therapy can be a valuable treatment option for those suffering from trauma. Traumatic experiences such as combat, rape, or childhood abuse can be so painful that articulating them can be too scary or painful; creating art allows people to express themselves without words, and tell their story in a different way. The physical nature of creating art can also help people feel rooted in the body, which may benefit those who feel disconnected from their body in the aftermath of trauma.

How long does art therapy last?

The duration of art therapy varies, but a common length for treatment is 10 to 15 weekly sessions. Some people may see improvement in just a few weeks, while others may choose to remain in therapy longer term. Patients should periodically discuss their goals with their therapist to make sure the two are aligned on process and progress.

What are the limitations of art therapy?

Art therapy is helpful for many people, but a limitation is that it doesn’t have as robust an evidence base as other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioural therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy. The evidence on art therapy is mixed; some research demonstrates its benefits, while other research suggests that it has little impact on patients.
