When your brain functions differently - whether through an ADHD diagnosis, a brain injury, or the fog of a long-term health condition - the world can feel like it wasn’t built for you.
As a Clinical Psychologist with a neuropsychology background, I bridge the gap between how your brain works and how you feel. We won't just talk; we'll find the 'why' behind your challenges. I use neuro-affirming strategies to help you navigate ADHD or health changes, building a life that works with your neurology, not against it.

I’m a warm, honest and trauma-informed psychotherapist who works with adults struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma (including childhood trauma, abuse, emotional and physical neglect) and neurodivergent challenges such as ADHD or autism.
My approach integrates person-centred, psychodynamic and parts work, helping you understand how your past experiences, relationships and nervous system responses shape the present. We’ll make sense of the patterns that keep you stuck, build emotional regulation and self-compassion, and reconnect you with the parts of yourself that have been trying to protect

Making the decision to seek support through therapy can feel overwhelming, often coming at a time when life feels at its most difficult. I provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your fears, anxieties, joys, sorrows, regrets, dreams, and hopes with honesty—both with me and, above all, with yourself.

Hello, my name is Agnieszka. Sometimes we need a safe place to talk about how we feel and what we’re going through. Whether there are present life challenges or past experiences that trigger difficult feelings like stress, anxiety, low mood, or feeling overwhelmed, having someone who will listen to you with understanding and without judgment is the start of healing. Difficult situations, particularly traumatic ones, can leave us for years unable to develop and lead happy lives. They can effect our self-esteem and self-worth, forming successful relationships and disrupting our life plans and dreams.

Feel free to contact me for a free 15 minute consultation, to see if I am the right fit for you. I am a warm and friendly individual who offers a safe space for you to be heard. I believe it is often better to work through life's problems together than alone. I have had the privilege of working with many different people, helping them in their time of difficulty, and holding the hope for them, until they are able to take it back for themselves. I currently have evening availability for new clients.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
