Over the past 15 years, I’ve supported clients through profound life transitions and helped therapists deepen their clinical work through supervision.
I believe that deep healing is possible when we approach the psyche with compassion, curiosity, and a willingness to listen to the body and soul. As a holistic Jungian psychotherapist, intuitive coach, healer, and supervisor, I work with individuals seeking to understand themselves more fully, often after trauma, loss, dissociation, or longstanding emotional struggles. My approach combines depth psychotherapy with spiritual insight and somatic awareness. I hold a space that welcomes every part of you—mind, body, emotions, and spirit.

My role is to help you understand yourself better in all the contexts of your life.
Let’s be honest, it’s all a bit daunting really. You decide you might need to talk to someone, Google it, and suddenly you’re scrolling through pages of smiling faces. The titles and initials next to our names likely don’t mean a great deal to you. And nearly everyone says a variation of the same thing about themselves anyway. So how do you tell us apart? This specialism, that theory, those qualifications, these years… What really matters is whether we connect. The research backs this up, and my experience does too.

I understand that it can be hard to take the first step in times of distress and crisis; I focus on resilience and motivation to seek change in order to better understand and overcome your difficulties, whether these relate to specific life events, acute periods of distress, pervasive patterns of unhappiness or discrete diagnoses.
Through evidence-based therapeutic models such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and compassion-focused therapy (CFT), I use a collaborative, warm and empathic approach to help identify and address challenges, draw upon strengths and take necessary steps towards achieving therapeutic goals.

I have over 20 years of experience within mental health settings in the NHS and private settings. I believe therapy is about building a non-judgemental and trusting relationship, where we can work together to make sense of your mental health symptoms and find ways to develop more awareness and ways to cope. Finding the right psychological approach is key to the smooth running of this process. Therefore, I utilise a range of psychological approaches that I adapt to suit your needs. My aim within therapy will be to be curious, empathetic and honest and draw on individual strengths.

I believe that we are all unique individuals despite the many different labels that life has to offer us.
My name is Jacqueline and I qualified as a counsellor in 2008. I have since worked with a wide variety of issues such as bereavement, anxiety, low self worth, lack of confidence, addiction, relational issues such as couples, autism, understanding self concept, shyness and much more. I believe that the professional working relationship between the counsellor and client is of fundamental importance as it provides opportunities in which change can occur. For that reason I provide a free assessment of your needs. Also meeting myself prior to engaging in any counseling will help you to decide if I would be the right counsellor for you.

I offer a 12-week structured trauma informed coaching programme where I mentor you through the stages of learning how to navigate the labyrinth of your mind.
Learning to accept the truth about needing help is sometimes the hardest part. It is however a process not an event. If you suffered chronic stress as a child or in the early years of adulthood, chances are, you amazingly created a lot of coping mechanisms that have helped you survive the situation. But what tends to happen with trauma is that we get stuck in those patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour and unless unpacked, they are impossible to change, even though they stopped serving you long time ago.

I know how difficult it can be to reach out for help, especially when life feels overwhelming.
I want you to know that it’s okay to be vulnerable, ask for help, and take time to focus on yourself. While I’m here to offer support and empathy, I also believe in actively engaging in your journey. I take a supportive, proactive approach. I can gently challenge you to push beyond your comfort zone and achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself.

Life Coaching Counsellors
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
