My therapy days are Thursday and Friday, Face to Face or Online
Hello, I am Nadine. I will briefly introduce myself. I am a mother of four with a personal experience of ADHD, and I know first-hand the transformative power of therapy. Diagnosed four years ago, my journey led me to understand the profound impact of talking therapy on mental health and well-being. This personal insight fuels my passion for helping others navigate their unique paths and their journey toward empowerment and healing. I am a pluralistic practitioner and what this means is that the sessions are built around the person's individual needs. The sessions have no set agenda but we will work in collaboration.

You maybe seeking support/help when things have become tough, difficult, or overwhelming that could be having an impact on health, mental health, on work, family, partner or affecting other relationships. This could be because you want to address issues around self esteem, sexual abuse, stress related work, health problems, trauma or bereavement. It could be that you need the space to off load, be listened to to find a new perspective

I offer therapy sessions both in-person and online during the week, with both daytime and early evening hours to accommodate your schedule.
On the outside, life might look okay — but inside, it feels like something’s off. Maybe you’re overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in the same frustrating cycles, or just tired of holding it all together. You might not even know exactly why things feel hard — just that they do. I help individuals and couples untangle the inner noise, break free from old patterns, and reconnect — with themselves and each other. Whether you're navigating stress, disconnection, conflict, or a sense that life just isn’t working the way it should, therapy can offer real change — and real relief.

I mainly see clients in-person Tuesday morning through to Thursday evenings, with some online options Wednesday afternoon and Fridays.
We live in a culture that promotes the idea of strong, powerful individuals who live picture perfect lives. There is little room for showing our vulnerability, or our need for connection. There is a cultural expectation that when things are difficult for us we should just 'get over it' and not make a fuss, this might manifest in you with thoughts of "what's wrong with me", "why is this so hard" and "I should be able to manage by myself" and so on! You may be feeling fragmented, disconnected, numb, overwhelmed, fearful, unable to cope, you might feel like giving up.

If you are looking for support with anxiety, you are in the right place. I am an Anxiety Counsellor working with both adults and young people (aged 13+). Anxiety can really get in the way. It can appear anywhere, at any time: at school, at work, in relationships, during pregnancy, or alongside ill health. It can show up after a loss or bereavement, or following a traumatic event. Sometimes it appears for no clear reason at all. Anxiety can range from mildly unsettling to completely overwhelming, and it can take the joy out of everyday life.

Most of us are taught from an early age that we should hide parts of ourselves to get by. As the person we are pulls away from the person we’re told we should be, we’re left with lingering distress and a struggle to feel truly connected and at home within ourselves. I believe the more we understand, accept and nurture ourselves, the more equipped to find the connection, community and purpose we’re longing for. Perhaps you feel that sense of struggle, or are feeling unmoored from the person you really are. Perhaps you're looking for support as you grow and find your way.

Just reading all these therapist bios can make you feel like you're spiralling out of control. Are you reacting in ways that are causing you distress? Constantly second-guessing yourself? You are not alone. Does life on the outside not reflect how you're feeling on the inside? I am a trauma-informed therapist who helps people step out of survival mode and begin to make sense of the chaos. My background in the fitness industry has given me a deep appreciation for the connection between mind and body, which continues to influence my approach to therapy.

I work Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, in person/online.
I am passionate about humans' ability to heal their emotional wounds when they feel supported on their personal path. We all have greater potential and resources than we think. A lot of the times it is difficult to access these, for various reasons. Therapy helps explore the ways we relate to ourselves and others. It is a journey towards finding or becoming yourself.

I offer therapy in person, in my comfortable and quiet office, and online via zoom.
My key aim is to help you experience more agency in your inner world: to notice, name, and relate to your feelings with greater understanding. By doing so, you can respond rather than react – developing more choice, self-trust, and flexibility in how you meet yourself and others.

The people I work with often come to therapy when something feels difficult to carry alone. They may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, anxious, low in mood, or trying to navigate a change or challenge in their life. They are often looking for a space to understand themselves better and make sense of what is happening beneath the surface. I work alongside each person to understand their experiences, not just their symptoms. Together, we explore what has shaped them, what they want to change, and what might help them move forward in a way that feels authentic and manageable.

I continue to be deeply interested in understanding the unique struggle each of us undergo throughout our lives, sometimes more than once. In providing a safe, facilitating environment within which a process of unfolding, unlearning and enabling new self-learning, then an exploration can take place between us. Through greater understanding of our innermost self, together we can begin to allow the possibility for change.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
