My personal journey into counselling started nearly a decade ago now and has seen me transition from the corporate world of work, marketing and communications to a world of words, thoughts and feelings.

Parents need to understand their children and to respond in ways that might be more effective. Giving children space to express and communicate from their own perspective can also be of help. I have many years experience of working in the NHS in CAMHS and want to be able to reach those who are not offered a service or where the wait is very long.
