Nothing you accomplish feels like enough. You hit your goals and immediately feel empty. You compare yourself to others and always lose. The baseline feeling is "I'm behind" or "I'm not doing enough" and it never goes away.
As a Clinical Psychologist registered in the EU and BACP Psychotherapist in UK, I help people like you get to the core of what’s driving the anxiety, overthinking, and self-criticism — often rooted in hidden patterns around self-worth and unresolved emotional needs.

I am an integrative psychotherapist working with compulsive sexual behaviour, including pornography use and sex and porn addiction, alongside ADHD-AuDHD related impulsivity and relationship challenges.
You might be asking yourself: why can’t I stop for good? Why take risks? Why doesn’t what I know change what I do? These are common questions. Often, the answer lies beyond behaviour, in how the brain and nervous system respond under pressure. Compulsivity is not simply about willpower, but is linked to reward pathways, impulse control, and emotional regulation — which is why lasting change requires a deeper, brain-based approach.

You're exhausted but can't sleep - your mind races with past trauma or tomorrow's worries. Sleep apps/AI give generic advice that doesn't work long-term because: 1) Nightmares/flashbacks need trauma processing (not just 'sleep hygiene'), 2) Your nervous system needs co-regulation (not pre-recorded meditations), 3) Complex PTSD requires personalised care (no algorithm understands your story). I help with trauma issues to finally sleep & lead a rich life through caring somatic/humanistic treatment that addresses the root cause, not just symptom pacification. Together, we rebuild your sense of safety so authenticity comes naturally.

You already know traditional therapy isn’t for you, sitting in a room, analysing the past, and talking in circles. You want something that actually shifts things. A space that helps you break the patterns you can’t seem to shake, stop second-guessing yourself, and get honest about what you really want. My work is direct, compassionate, and unapologetically real. I combine therapeutic depth with a coaching approach that moves you forward, not just talking about problems but creating real change. This is about clearing the noise, facing the truths you’ve avoided, and building the confidence to live in a way that actually feels like you.

My clients often look like they’re coping. They appear capable and responsible, sometimes highly successful, yet privately they are often anxious, disconnected, self-critical or exhausted. Some carry complex trauma or PTSD; others just know something doesn’t feel right. Many have learned to be the strong one. They don’t just want symptom relief — they want to understand their patterns, feel calmer, build steadier relationships and feel at home in who they truly are. They want the opportunity of a therapeutic relationship that will help them heal from their emotional wounds and unburden themselves.

Hypnotherapy Counsellors
How does hypnotherapy work?
Hypnotherapy works by using guided hypnosis to help you reach a state of focus and concentration through mental imagery and soothing verbal repetition. The state is somewhat like being absorbed in a book, a film, or your own thoughts. You are not under a therapist’s “control,” but they can help you relax and turn your attention inward to discover the resources to achieve behaviour change or better manage psychological concerns. Therapy sessions may involve guiding you through recognising a problem, releasing problematic thoughts about it, and considering and accepting more productive alternatives before returning to normal awareness. Hypnotherapy is typically used by a therapist along with traditional forms of talk therapy. Eventually, your therapist can help you learn hypnotherapy techniques yourself, so you can establish a stronger sense of control on your own in stressful or challenging moments.
Is hypnotherapy the same as hypnosis?
Hypnotherapy, which is sometimes called hypnotic suggestion, is a therapeutic technique in which a therapist uses hypnosis to help patients. It is not the kind of hypnosis portrayed in stage shows, or in movies or on television. You will not be unconscious or asleep during hypnotherapy, you will not lose control of yourself, your thoughts, or your free will, and you will be able to fully recall your experience. And while you will hear your therapist’s suggestions, it is always up to you to decide whether to act on them. Hypnosis by a trained mental-health professional is not a form of mind control, which is impossible to achieve anyway.
Can everyone be hypnotised?
The most common challenge of hypnotherapy is that as many as one in four people cannot be hypnotised. Brain imaging has confirmed differences in patterns of brain connectivity between those who respond to hypnotism and those who do not. Other people who could potentially be hypnotised may not respond to the technique because of their scepticism or resistance to entering a hypnotic state. If a therapist’s “post-hypnotic suggestion” is effective, it’s because they are suggesting something you want to achieve.
Does hypnotherapy work?
Through hypnotherapy, you can achieve changes that are real and sustainable. Like other talk therapy techniques, when hypnotherapy succeeds, it’s a case of mind over matter. Effective hypnotherapy involves self-healing because you access resources you need to change inside of yourself and learn how to tap into them whenever you need. Hypnotherapy has been shown to be an effective therapy for anxiety, phobias, stress, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual dysfunction, and undesirable behaviours like smoking. It can be used to help improve sleep or to address relationship challenges, and to aid with pain management, digestive disorders, skin conditions, and the gastrointestinal side effects of pregnancy or chemotherapy.
