I work with individuals and with groups, offering a 'safe' environment, one which is welcoming, respectful, warm, accepting and non-judgemental. So often in current times, it can feel as if we are 'functions' as opposed to feeling, thinking human beings so it is important to me that you are able to be and feel heard and valued. I offer both talking and person-centred art therapies, in individual or group settings. I also offer integrative clinical supervision. Mindfulness tuition is also available. Both daytime and evening appointments are available.

I draw on a range of theories which include attachment, mindfulness, eco-therapy and somatic's.
At times we all need support to explore aspects of our life that have become difficult or confusing. I provide a warm and non-judgmental approach to therapy, providing a contained and confidential space for supported self-exploration of thoughts and feelings. Starting therapy can often feel difficult in itself and for this reason I offer a range of warm-up activities, grounding techniques, along with personal choice. My training and experience has been with group work and 1-to-1 therapy sessions for children, adults and families, this includes neurodiversity. I work with art therapy students whom the fee is £55.

I work with adults experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety in relationships and low self-esteem or feelings of not being 'good enough.' You may feel anxious or on edge in relationships but more confident when on your own, or notice repeating relationships patterns that feel difficult to change. I am an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist, and I work with images, play, sensory and somatic exploration, depending on what feels present in the moment.
I work with adolescents and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or finding life changes and relationships difficult to navigate. I offer a relational, trauma-informed and culturally aware space where you can feel safely met and listened to. Alongside talking, I pay close attention to what may be communicated through feelings, behaviour, images, silence, and patterns in relationships, as these can often hold meanings that are difficult to put into words.

I have extensive experience of working with adults of all ages, backgrounds and circumstances, and this, in tandem with my wide and deep range of life experiences and extensive counselling training, helps clients explore and, hopefully, find a way through what it is that has led them to seek counselling. I offer confidential, empathic, and non-judgemental support for both in the long- and short-term, whether through face-to-face sessions in my home, online or on the phone, or even outdoors walking and talking on Wimbledon Common. Rest assured, from the outset, you will be heard and acknowledged as a person in your own right.

My approach draws on attachment theory, parts work, and somatic awareness, with room for the bigger questions about meaning and what matters most.
You're here because something needs to shift. You've done the work, read the books, listened to the podcasts, maybe tried therapy before, and yet familiar patterns keep returning. You want a space that takes you seriously, moves at depth, and doesn't shy away from what's really going on. My work is integrative, soul-centred, and direct. I bring therapeutic depth alongside a willingness to name what I'm noticing, gently but honestly. Sessions are a place to slow down, get underneath the surface, and build the kind of clarity and confidence that holds up in real life.

You've landed here for a reason. Maybe something feels stuck: in your life, work, or yourself. Maybe you're carrying something that's hard to name. Maybe you've been looking for a therapist who understands not just what you're going through, but the world you're moving through. I'm a Consultant Psychotherapist, with a particular interest in working with people navigating multiple identities; race, heritage, cultural background, class, gender, sexual orientation, faith, neurodivergence, immigration status, and other intersecting identities, and the weight that carries in a world that hasn't always made space for the whole you.

I'm a humanistic counsellor with over six years of experience working with people of diverse gender identities, relationship styles and sexualities, and, in particular, gay men. I am a trans and nonbinary ally, anti-fascist, anti-racist and a feminist. I work towards an anti-oppressive and decolonial practice, and educate myself around intersectionality. I'm Queer and Autistic and I work with anyone who feels I'm a good match for them, regardless of identity - you don't need to be part of a specific group. I work with people 18+ one to one. This can be for a fixed period, or until you feel the work is complete.

I can help you explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. The pressures, or patterns that leave you feeling stuck or unheard. Our sessions offer a safe, honest space to slow down and make sense of things at your own pace. I’ll support you in reconnecting with yourself, finding clarity, and creating change that feels right for you. Having grown up across three different countries and speaking three languages, I have experienced the challenges of feeling unsure about where you belong.

I use a unique blend of powerful approaches - EMDR, somatic therapy & inner child work - to regulate the nervous system, restore your natural capability to cope & change any beliefs which are holding you back.
I work with people who have a feeling, deep down, that they'e not quite good enough or loveable and this has led to anxiety and depression. They often have an inability to trust themselves and a tendency to put the needs of others before their own. I help them to develop their self-esteem, learn to trust their gut as well as look after their own needs.

Somatic Counsellors
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
