The world is a very challenging place, particularly now. We never know what will emerge to test our resolve and wellbeing. When those episodes arise, it is often difficult to understand and make sense of what is going on.I offer a safe and confidential space where we can come together in a therapeutic setting to work through matters which are affecting you. Perhaps you are experiencing relationship difficulties, a loss such as bereavement or redundancy or are feeling anxious or depressed. It may be that you are struggling to find a direction in life or have a sense that something isn't right without knowing what it is.

I am here to help you when you are ready to take the next step.

We can all have difficulties in everyday life and encounter problems that we simply find hard to cope with alone. You may feel worried, anxious, low, confused, isolated or may be experience difficulties in relationships. You may be suffering from feelings of low self esteem or low self confidence. You may have been diagnosed with anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, depression, or maybe you are just feeling sad. When these feelings and thoughts persist and become overwhelming it may be difficult to know which way to turn.

Sex is a natural, normal and enjoyable part of our lives but sometimes it can become something that feels out of control, damaging and destructive. Some people find themselves addicted to porn, watching it for hours every day, and as a result their work and their relationships suffer. Others become addicted to having sex with strangers or with escorts. They may find themselves spending huge amounts of money, putting themselves and their partners at risk of sexually transmitted diseases and damaging their relationships. When sex feels like it has become out of control, then it is time to seek help.

Do you feel at a crossroads perhaps stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by emotions that you can’t quite make sense of? You may be feeling anxious or low, struggling with a recent loss, processing difficult past experiences, or simply sensing that something in your life needs to change. You might be navigating a life transition, facing burnout, relationship difficulties, or feeling as though you’re living on autopilot. Sometimes, there’s no clear label for what’s wrong just a sense that things could be better.

I work with clients who want to understand themselves more deeply. You may be feeling anxious, low, stuck, or noticing patterns in relationships that you can’t quite shift. Some clients come with a clear issue, while others feel something isn’t right but struggle to put it into words. Often, there’s a sense that past experiences are still shaping the present. I offer a space to explore this at your own pace, helping you gain clarity and move forward in a way that feels meaningful and lasting.

I specialise in burnout, ADHD and neurodiversity affirming therapy for those navigating addictive cycles and complex questions around modern masculinity and gender identity. Searching through a directory of therapists can be a little strange. Trying to gauge if you can trust someone based on a small photo or a few words. I will try my best to give you a sense of how we might work together.

What truly sets me apart is that I’ve been on both sides of the therapy couch. I know what it’s like to wake up with a racing mind, overwhelmed by the thought of facing the day. I know the loneliness of feeling invisible even when surrounded by people. I know the weight of intrusive thoughts and the relentless exhaustion of carrying childhood wounds into adult life. I’ve experienced intensive therapy for anxiety and trauma, and I’ve come through it. This means that when I sit with you, I’m not just relying on textbooks or clinical theory. I meet you with real understanding and absolutely no judgment. I get it, because I’ve lived it!

You may feel stuck in repeating cycles—around addiction, relationships, or intimacy—even though you understand your patterns and genuinely want things to change. Shame, attachment wounds, or codependency often sit underneath, leaving you longing for connection, self-acceptance, and a sense of freedom. Many of the people I work with feel tired of looking outside themselves for answers and are ready to begin a more grounded, authentic kind of healing. Most people come to therapy feeling unsure or ambivalent — often that’s exactly where meaningful change begins....

Perhaps you’re used to keeping the peace, putting other people first or doubting yourself, and it’s beginning to leave you anxious, low or frustrated. You may be struggling with confidence, difficult relationship patterns, boundaries or a sense of where your life is heading. I work particularly well with men, both gay and straight, although my practice is open to everyone. Together we can explore what has shaped these patterns, understand the part you may play in them, and work towards greater confidence, healthier relationships and more choice in how you live.

You may be considering therapy because something in your life feels difficult to understand, or because there is something particular you want support with. You might be living with experiences related to addiction, trauma, or self-harm behaviours, or finding yourself questioning who you are during a period of change. I see people as human beings, not as problems to be fixed. This understanding underpins how I work and the therapeutic relationship we develop together. I offer in-person counselling in London, with sessions available across Central and East London, as well as online sessions across the UK and internationally.

Most of us experience emotional difficulties at some point in our lives. We may turn to friends and family for help and support, but sometimes this is not possible, or not enough. At this point, therapy can help. A supportive relationship, with a therapist you can trust not to judge or criticise you, can give you the safety and space to share your feelings and to think about what is troubling you. This can lead to greater understanding and the possibility of lasting change and growth. From my practice in Finchley Road, I offer a private and confidential space to help you to explore and come to terms what is on your mind.

Men's Issues Counsellors
Is therapy for men different than it is for women?
Therapeutic treatments and types are the same for men as they are for women, with the same protocols followed and the same strategies employed. Discussing one’s feelings and emotions is an integral part of most therapies, and some men find doing so more challenging. Therapists can help clients through the process; some specialize in treating men for this reason.

How do you encourage a man to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either himself or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can men prepare for therapy?
Men can prepare for therapy by approaching the process with an open mind, being willing to talk about their challenges, and giving treatment the time to work. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. It can be useful for men who struggle to recall their emotional states to write down notes between sessions about their response to a given event or how they were feeling at a particular time.

What should men know about the process of therapy?
One of the most common reasons men don’t seek therapy is the notion that there’s something wrong with them if they do. Men should know that just because they’re seeking therapy doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill or damaged in some way. In the same way people work on their bodies through exercise or a craft through practice, therapy can be a way to improve the mental and emotional skills needed to be productive and effective partners, employees, and people in all realms of life.
