Many of my clients are high-performing individuals who live with ADHD, often caught in a cycle of overworking, burnout, and self-criticism.
My approach is clinical, caring, and collaborative. Many of my clients begin therapy when they’re feeling stuck, anxious, or after experiencing a significant life event. In a safe and supportive space, we explore their current difficulties understanding what has happened, what might be maintaining the problem, and how we can begin to reframe or change the situation. Often, clients come to therapy saying, “I just want to be happy” or “I want to feel like myself again.” Together, we unpack what happiness and self-connection truly means for you and explore why these feelings may feel out of reach right now.

Whether you have ADHD or are navigating grief, therapy can help.
In sessions, you can show up exactly as you are, you don’t need to censor your words, hide your feelings, or hold back your humour. Cry, rant, laugh, or swear if you need to; everything is welcome here. Clients often tell me it feels good to just be able to reconnect with themselves and be accepted for who they are.

You are not broken. You may be feeling emotional pain, distress, or psychological strain, but that doesn’t mean you are damaged. These responses often reflect your strength and resilience. What you're experiencing is an emotional build-up, not a breakdown. You might be living with anxiety, depression, grief, low self-worth, or trauma. Over time, you may have built defences to cope and protect yourself. These patterns helped you survive, but they are not your truest self. Healing begins by gently reconnecting with the parts of you that have been hidden, and making space for who you truly are.

At the core of the psychotherapy I offer is the belief that when people are shown empathy, unconditional acceptance and emotional honesty they can learn to foster these positive qualities in their relationship to themselves, and live more authentically, with greater access to their human potential. I currently have some immediate availability

Life can feel heavy at times, and it’s easy to feel stuck or overwhelmed. You don’t have to face it alone. In our sessions, we connect in a calm, wooden cabin nestled in a peaceful garden surrounded by trees, a space rooted in authenticity and acceptance, where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what’s happening for you.

Maybe you’ve tried therapy - the worksheets, the apps, the coping tools that promised to help. If you’re neurodivergent or living with trauma, it’s no surprise those didn’t stick; survival mode needs more than a strategy. You might be here after a diagnosis, burnout, loss, or just years of masking that finally caught up with you. Either way, we start where you are - not where you think you’re “supposed” to be.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
