We may use different words to describe how we feel coming to therapy - fed up, low, empty, frustrated, desperate, anxious, panicky, over-thinking, constantly sad, too sensitive, dreading, can't keep going or move on... and sometimes there are no words. We may feel not in control, hurt, lost, or not belonging. Maybe our long-held truths, trust, understanding how to relate and be in this world are shaken and don't work... It can be overwhelming, taking too much from us. So, we can use therapy space, free of judgement, expectation or failure, to talk it through.
