I have been in professional practice for 11 years, and work with 18+ individuals and couples using a variety of different counselling models and methodologies. I specialise in trauma-informed psychotherapy and mentoring for parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people, with a focus on supporting parents of autistic girls. Parenting a neurodivergent child often brings ongoing stress, emotional overwhelm, parent burnout, and trauma. I offer integrative talking therapy, with EMDR available to help process emotions and reduce burnout. I am also an accredited foundation coach and offer this either as an integration or standalone.

Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you're carrying everything on your own.
I work integratively, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT approaches, alongside coaching tools where helpful. This allows us to explore both past and present patterns while developing practical ways to move forward. I support adults facing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low self esteem, grief, and stress.

Are you at a point in your life where something needs to change?
For over a decade I have supported people through life's transitions as a counsellor, yoga teacher and holistic practitioner. My experience has shown me that lasting change doesn't come from fixing yourself—it comes from feeling deeply understood, developing self-awareness and creating the conditions for genuine growth and transformation.

I pay close attention to the impact of relationships, family dynamics, culture, and life circumstances, particularly when these have contributed to feeling stuck, unsafe, or unsure of yourself.
I am a registered therapist with the BACP, with over 10 years’ experience supporting people through a range of mental health and relationship difficulties, including experiences of abuse and domestic abuse. I offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can begin to talk about what’s been happening for you, at your own pace. I work with people from many different backgrounds and understand that it can feel hard to reach out, especially if you’ve felt hurt, controlled, or not listened to in your relationships. My aim is to help you feel heard, respected, and supported.

As an HCPC-registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist, I help athletes perform at their best when it matters most. I’ve supported individuals and teams across football, rugby, golf, netball, and athletics, from developing performers to those competing at the highest levels. My work goes beyond “mental skills.” It’s about understanding how you think, respond, and perform under pressure, and then building the psychological tools to give you a real, lasting edge.

In my practice, it is my privilege to walk alongside individuals who are seeking to heal themselves as they grow through life. My role is it use my training as an integrative transpersonal psychotherapist to support the emergent qualities of balance and develop ego strength in service to one’s higher-self, even when the soul feels deeply weary. This is a long winded way of describing a therapeutic style that is guided by the client that adapts to the needs and is non judgemental, that has proven successful for many clients over the years.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck? Whether you're navigating anxiety, low mood, identity challenges, or simply longing to feel more at home in yourself, counselling can offer a space for you to pause, explore, and reconnect. I tailor our work to meet you where you are—drawing on talking therapy, somatic awareness (connecting to the body), and creative tools like imagery, metaphor, and art materials (if that suits you). My aim is to create a space where all parts of you are welcomed, including the parts that may feel messy, masked, or misunderstood.

With a psychology degree, counselling and Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy diploma, I offer a flexible and personalised approach. Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected, we might explore how your body holds your story too. I also want you to leave with practical tools and insights you can use in everyday life.

Life Coaching Counsellors
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
