Hello and welcome to my profile.. Is there something on your mind that you want to explore, share or think about in a safe and accommodating space? Counselling can assist you in many ways, and by offering a non-judgemental, safe and therapeutic space I would look to hold and share whatever you choose to bring to a session. Taking the first steps to seek counselling can be scary and uncertain and very daunting and I want to share that I take care and time to understand what has made you look to counselling and discuss and explore a way of work that will support you in a confidential and safe space.

I am an experienced counsellor working with adults and young people aged 16+ experiencing low mood, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, or who are late-diagnosed or suspect they are neurodivergent. Our work will be engaging, collaborative and creative – not just listening. People experience me to be energetic, enthusiastic, warm, and real. I specialise in supporting people who are navigating a late diagnosis of neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism), or who are considering if they might be neurodivergent for the first time.

Do you know, you talk to yourself more than anyone else? I help you understand and reshape that voice. My clients feel stuck in their thoughts, going round in circles, replaying conversations, questioning themselves. They may seem to be coping, but internally things feel confusing, overwhelming, or quite lonely. Many come to therapy unsure why they react the way they do, especially in relationships, or because they find it hard to express what they’re really feeling. I offer a calm space where we slow things down and make sense of what’s going on, helping you feel less stuck, more understood, and clearer about how to move forward.

My clients often arrive in my chair feeling stuck in their relationships or within themselves. They crave deeper connection, intimacy & fulfilment but don’t know how to get there. Maybe past wounds, shame or patterns keep them from the life they desire. My clients are ready for change, open to exploring mind, body, and soul, and want a holistic, integrative approach. They want a space to feel seen, heard and empowered- whether in their relationship or as an individual. They are searching for more than surface-level fixes; they seek lasting transformation.

Do your feelings overwhelm you? Is it hard to stay in control? Are you unkind to yourself? I understand how hard it is to ask for help. Untangling a lifetime of feelings and thoughts can be daunting, but with the right support you can identify those limiting patterns and change the beliefs, feelings, and responses holding you back from the life you want and the person you want to be. Choice comes from understanding yourself, then making the right changes. I understand how hard it can be to do that on your own. I will be with you on that journey, supporting and empowering you to move from self-awareness to real, lasting change

Hello, I’m Rebecca. I will be by your side as you explore whatever you wish to share, accepting all parts of you and bringing all parts of myself. As a person-centred therapist I offer a space that is non-judgemental, open and supportive. I offer you space that is just for you, to have the time to be heard and express yourself. I'm passionate about social justice and embed this in my practice, curious about how your identities and life experiences are felt and perceived. It feels like a really hard time to be queer and/or trans at the moment, I'm here to hold you and have understanding and experience. You are welcome and accepted.

People often come to me when something in their sexual or relational life feels confusing, stuck or quietly painful. This might be conflict that keeps repeating, the sex and desire in a long-term relationship has shifted, there's infidelity, shame or coping behaviours that no longer feel in our control. On the outside we may be functioning well, yet privately struggling with intimacy, identity or connection. I offer direct, practical and emotionally attuned therapy that bridges psychological depth with relational clarity. I work in a clear, compassionate and direct way, helping you name whats happening rather than going in circles.

Hello, my name is Borbala, or Bee for short. As Jean-Paul Sartre wrote, “Freedom is what you do with what’s been done to you.” I believe therapy offers a space to make sense of confusing, difficult or painful feelings while supporting self-discovery and personal growth. I provide a safe, confidential and accepting environment where you may feel able to talk about experiences or feelings you may never have shared with anyone before. Together we build a therapeutic relationship in which you can reflect, question and express your authentic self while I walk alongside you on your journey.

Are you exhausted from trying to hold it all together? You've spent years trying to understand yourself through advice, strategies, or self-reflection, yet still feel stuck. Maybe you’ve even tried therapy before but didn’t feel fully met. You’re not broken. Often, what’s missing is a space that actually understands both your inner world and how your brain works. I work with people who experience ADHD or neurodivergence, offering relational therapy that makes room for difference, complexity, and compassion

I am a neurodiverse therapist, with ADHD, second-generation immigrant, none binary person of color. My role is to offer a space where every part of you—your neurotype, your culture, your queerness, your heritage—is not only welcomed but fundamentally understood. My work is centered on healing the trauma of childhood, addressing the imprints left by experiences such as emotional neglect, abuse, parental conflict, and family separation and we look at how these experiences inform the way we relate today. I have particular expertise working with clients who, as children, took on caring roles.

More often than not, the roots of emotional problems go deeper than normal awareness can reach, and my role is to enable you to identify, and focus on, some of the destructive ways of relating to yourself and others that might leave you feeling depressed, anxious or alone. Together, we will create a safe and creative environment, which will help you to explore the different aspects of yourself – some which harmoniously coexist, and others that are at odds with each other.

What is bisexual-affirming therapy?
Bisexual-affirming therapy is a type of mental health support that fully affirms and reflects a client’s bisexual identity. It is rooted in acceptance and does not attempt to change or question an individual’s orientation. In this type of therapy, clients work with a therapist who understands the unique experiences of bisexual people. This support is especially important, as research shows that bisexual individuals face higher rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation compared to other groups. Bisexual-affirming therapy acknowledges that bisexual individuals may encounter specific stressors—such as invalidation, relationship challenges, and minority stress—that require specialised understanding and intervention. Many therapists also provide couples therapy for bisexual partners, helping them navigate relationship dynamics, communication challenges, or external stressors that may impact their relationship. While not required, some clients prefer working with bisexual therapists who may bring personal insight to the therapeutic relationship. However, a non-bisexual therapist with strong training and a genuine commitment to affirmation can be equally effective. The most important factor is finding a therapist who understands how identity impacts mental health and can create a space of trust and respect.

What can a bisexual therapist help with?
Bisexual-affirming therapists can provide support across a wide range of concerns relevant to bisexual individuals. Whether through personal or professional experience, they often have specialised knowledge in areas such as the coming out process, navigating stereotypes, and dealing with common stressors. Relationship support is another key area of focus, as bisexual clients may face unique challenge when dating or maintaining relationships across genders. Affirming therapists can also help clients build coping strategies for managing discrimination or stigma. Additionally, many bisexual-affirming therapists can connect clients to other providers or community-based resources—such as bisexual support groups or LGBTQ+ organisations—that offer additional affirming spaces for connection. It's important to note that therapists provide can talk therapy and counseling services but do not prescribe medication—if medication is needed for conditions like depression or anxiety, they will coordinate care with a psychiatrist or primary care physician who can provide psychiatric medication management alongside therapeutic support.

How do I find a bisexual therapist?
The Psychology Today online directory is a helpful tool for finding bisexual-affirming therapists. You can use search filters to identify therapists who specialise in LGBTQ+ care and work specifically with bisexual clients. You can also filter by clinical specialties, therapeutic approaches, accepted insurance, session costs, and languages spoken to find the right fit. During initial consultations or early sessions, ask potential therapists about their specific training in bisexual-affirming care, their experience with LGBTQ+ clients, and their therapeutic approach to identity-related concerns. An effective bisexual-affirming therapist will demonstrate genuine understanding of bisexual experiences, including awareness of the unique challenges facing bisexual individuals. You can also look for credentials or continuing education in areas such as LGBTQ+ mental health, trauma-informed care, and intersectionality.
