I work with clients who are been bereaved, terminally ill, have childhood trauma, or anxiety due to experiences or issues in family life.
Many of my clients are insightful, capable people who find themselves quietly carrying burdens that are difficult to name; a sense of disconnection, grief, stress, or uncertainty about who they are and what they truly need. You might be doing all the right things like showing up in your work and relationships, but feel like something’s missing or slowly coming undone.
Therapy with me offers a safe, confidential space to pause, reflect, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. Together, we look at the deeper patterns shaping your experience, and gently work toward greater clarity and self-understanding,

However, our minds don’t always respond the way we would like to, with many of us struggling to manage depression and/or anxiety.
Understanding why you experience these challenges the way you do helps your mind feel safer, meaning our mind doesn’t feel it needs to create extreme emotional responses. This combined with learning skills to manage thoughts and calm bodily responses triggered by perceived threat enables us to better cope.

Hi. I am dedicated to helping people develop a better understanding of their true selves and consequently the way they approach relationships and life events. When life brings uncomfortable and sometimes unbearable emotions, it can be easier to run or hide from them. This may work in the short-term, but is often not a sustainable approach for a happy and healthy life. By working together, we can make sense of your thoughts and feelings, leading to better emotional and mental wellbeing. All ranges of emotions are welcome and can be explored in a safe, supportive, non-judgemental manner, helping you gain insight into your inner world.

They might be very anxious, rigid, controlling or unable to cope with any of the expectations placed on them.
Sometimes children are overwhelmed by big feelings and don’t know what those feelings are about or how to cope. Together, by communicating their inner worlds through art, sandtray work and through play, we can put words to their distress, build self-regulation and coping skills, process their experiences and make the changes necessary to help them thrive.

You may be someone who thinks deeply about yourself and the world, yet still feel stuck. Perhaps you understand your patterns intellectually, but certain reactions, relationships, or ways of coping keep resurfacing. From the outside things may look fine, yet internally something feels conflicted, tense, or quietly out of place. Many of my clients want not just relief, but a deeper understanding of themselves and more freedom in how they live.
