You may be living with the effects of trauma, anxiety, or long-standing emotional distress, alongside feeling overwhelmed or misunderstood due to ADHD or autistic traits. Past experiences may have involved masking, burnout, or invalidation, leaving you feeling exhausted or unsure of yourself. You might be a busy individual with limited time or feel that weekly therapy hasn’t worked for you. I offer neuroaffirming therapy alongside EMDR intensive therapy to help you process difficult experiences, reduce distress, and gain clarity, supporting you to move forward with greater self-understanding, stability, and confidence.

I am a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years' experience providing psychodynamic psychotherapy to adults and couples. I have a particular interest in working with executives, partners, entrepreneurs, professionals and leaders whose demanding roles can leave little space to reflect on the emotional pressures that accompany success. My work explores the unconscious patterns that influence decision-making, relationships, confidence, leadership and resilience, helping clients develop greater self-understanding alongside lasting psychological change.

‘We all need someone to talk to some of the time’ and across the multi-dimensional layers of personality and global connectedness, to be human means we will be faced with situations and events during our lifetime that we believe a hundred percent, we will have little or no chance of sorting out or finding solutions to. The truism is there are always solutions, some more easily achievable and likeable, others less so. Nonetheless these too are solutions and place ALL at the doorway of all possibility. The wisdom then is to stand in the doorway to commence the healing transformations of finding answers and pathways towards resolution.

Everybody struggles from time to time and sometimes it can get in the way of our lives. Have you noticed changes in your life? Are you worrying more than usual and finding it hard to relax? Maybe you are feeling sad, low in mood or get cross and irritable more quickly? Is it hard to put yourself first or just saying no? Do you feel less motivated or less enjoyment in life? Or have you noticed difficulties with sleeping? Perhaps you don’t feel the way you want. Or do you just feel ‘stuck’? These struggles could be getting in your way or affecting relationships with those closest to you. If so, these are things I can help you with.

Therapy is a relational and collaborative process. My aim is to create a safe and respectful space where you can explore both your struggles and your potential. Often, the parts of us that need healing the most are also the most protective guarding us against further hurt. In therapy, we can begin to gently build trust with these parts, so they no longer have to carry the burden alone.

Navigating life and relationships is not always straightforward; sometimes it’s confusing, sometimes it’s difficult and sometimes it’s overwhelming. And even when we're surrounded by other people, we can still feel lonely. As a fully qualified, UKCP Accredited psychotherapist, I offer a safe and non-judgemental space where we can explore the challenges you may be facing with compassion and curiosity. As we begin to make sense of our emotions, behaviours, thoughts and our relationships to others, we can start to make more informed choices. This process can help bring about change, promotes balance and encourages autonomy.

I see both neurodiverse and neurotypical clients for issues related to anxiety, stress, chronic health issues, bereavement and trauma. I personally come from a bilingual neurodiverse and neurotypical background and have self diagnosed ADHD. I bring to the counselling room a non judgemental attitude, and create a safe confidential environment to promote trust and a therapeutic bond. My approach to therapy is integrative and holistic and takes in consideration the whole person - body, mind, spirit and emotions. Clients choose to continue seeing me because they feel I really see them, and they find the sessions really helpful.
