Hello. As an experienced psychotherapist, I can help you manage current life challenges like sudden changes or losses; anxiety; relationship issues; bereavement; loneliness; parenthood; depression or past experiences intruding on your present. Sometimes clients come with a more general sense of unfulfilment or want to know themselves better. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to share your load, rather than carrying it alone. Psychotherapy offers vital connection, support and opportunity to work things through with an empathic, trained professional totally unconnected to your life.

I offer support with relationships, life experiences, personal development and everything in between! Perhaps you want to understand yourself and others better, make sense of a challenging life experience or feel more connected, happier and fulfilled in life! The best place to start may involve thinking more about me than about you! I am here to offer my clients the opportunity to explore their authentic self with non-judgemental, caring, support. Or perhaps, you find yourself at a crossroads or experiencing huge change. This may have left you feeling uncertain, overwhelmed or confused. I work with you to help you through this times, providing tools and coping strategies to help you long term too.

As a clinical psychologist, I specialise in offering therapy for relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and difficulties with anger.
"Dianne helped my husband and I bridge seemingly impossible gaps in our understanding of each other and ability to communicate despite considerable differences. Dianne took us from a place where we encountered apparently unresolvable emotional blockages daily, from a place of frustration and chronic misunderstanding to a place where we were able to appreciate each other's feelings and show love to one another increasingly unreservedly. She was skilfully professional, without ever faltering in compassion or humanity. She has given us the tools we needed to succeed in our marriage and we are hugely grateful for her help. " Annon

As an integrative counsellor, I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the exploration of the unconscious mind.
Are you looking for support? I know how impossible it may feel to have someone that could just listen. You may be facing a challenge, or purely feeling stuck in your current circumstances, at that point when you just want to be understood. I will provide a safe and confidential space for you to share and feel heard, helping you see things differently, going at your own pace. Whether it is your general experience or a specific issue, our initial conversation will be the opportunity for both of us to see whether we can work together.

It is important that you feel safe and supported and that we can create a secure relationship where you feel safe to acknowledge your true feelings.
Hello, I'm Sophie and I am a qualified, experienced counsellor working in a calm space in Central Cheltenham. I provide Face-to-Face counselling or online counselling, to suit your needs. It is not easy to make the decision to come to counselling and it takes courage to seek the help that you feel you might need. There are many reasons that someone might seek out counselling: Perhaps you are feeling stuck, finding it hard to make a change? Maybe you are feeling anxious, depressed or in a low mood that feels hard to shift? Perhaps there is something in your past which is having an impact on how you feel now in your life?

Relationship Issues Counsellors
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
