I am offering young people and children face to face counselling during this really anxious time.
Children and Young People have many issues which they cannot always express and understand their feelings, as adults sometimes can. Issues can range from parents splitting up, school problems, exam stress and pressure, friendship issues, witnessing domestic abuse or sexual abuse. The lists can be endless. My job is to creatively work with the child or young person to explore what their issues are and help build up self esteem and track their goals in therapy in creative ways.

You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Many of the people I work with are functioning day-to-day, but something doesn’t quite sit right — overthinking, feeling stuck, low mood, or a sense of disconnection. They’re often thoughtful, self-aware people who have tried to figure things out on their own, but keep going round in circles. Therapy offers a space to slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to move forward in a way that feels more grounded and real.

Do you feel stressed and disconnected, moving between numbing and activation, feeling stuck and powerless? Are your relationships and sense-of-self suffering? I would love to help! My somatically-informed integrative approach seeks to create awareness around emotions and thoughts through gentle curiosity, whilst also taking moments of pause to notice how they have landed in the body. Working out where patterns and blockages can be felt and released through resources like breathwork, grounding, tracking, tapping, self-contact and powerful visualizations.

It can be really isolating, and it makes sense if that’s left you feeling anxious, low, or just totally overwhelmed.
Counselling with me can help you find ways to recover so you feel less isolated, anxious and ashamed, and feel that your concerns are understood by someone who understands. I have experience working with an LGBT+ charity and with have worked for over 25 years with survivors of abuse. I also have experience and understanding of neurodivergence.

I support clients with anxiety, depression, life challenges, relationships, childhood trauma, menopause, and the impact of narcissistic behaviours and loss.
I welcome enquires from all clients who are seeking a calm, safe sanctuary where you can feel heard and understood. Life can often leave us feeling out of sync, as if we are moving through the motions and not living the life we want. Whether you are an adult struggling with the patterns of past behaviours or the impact of narcissistic relationships or you are a young adult that is struggling to work through your identity and who you are, together we can process this and how to move forward. Our work together is to help you heal from those past experiences and trauma so you can release what holds you back and rediscover you.

When the world feels overwhelming therapy can be a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself. Coming to therapy can be a daunting experience; you might have a clear goal to work towards, or you might know that something needs to change but be unsure what. That’s okay! We can work together to co-create the support that you need, and take it one step at a time. I believe in building a therapeutic relationship based on trust and authenticity, where all parts of you are welcome so we can explore your experiences without shame. I'm a qualified counsellor (BACP) working towards accreditation as a psychotherapist (UKCP).
