Are you faced with difficulties, feeling angry, sad or anxious? I understand the reason you are seeking counselling may not be in relation to any specific issue. For example, you may want a safe and confidential space to explore your feelings or seek to grow as a person. It is my wish that our sessions together can help you to understand yourself better and provide greater insight and awareness of your presenting issues or life experience. My integrative training allows me to be flexible and adaptable with my approach, as I feel that therapy is not a one size fits all endeavour.

We know that life is sometimes very hard, and that we are supposed to be able to absorb and grow from the inevitable ups and downs that come our way. But, of course, there are times when we are just unable to absorb what life throws at us, or grow from it, because we can't quite determine what is wrong or see a way forward. Whether it is anxiety, depression, or something else that cannot be so neatly labelled, I will support you in exploring your own, unique experience. You will discover and understand what is causing you discomfort, pain or holding you back, so that you can live a more enjoyable, fulfilled and rewarding life.

If you're dealing with porn, compulsive sex, or a relapse cycle you can't break, you're in the right place. The pattern keeps coming back because the root has never been touched. Willpower fights the behaviour. My work goes to the source. Six years working with men 1:1 on this. I've been through it myself and know what it takes to close it for good. The anxiety, the stress, the emptiness underneath. That is what drives it. Each session we work through your specific triggers using Mind Shifting, clearing what sits beneath each one before moving to the next. You leave each session feeling the difference, not hoping something shifted.

Is there something preventing you from doing what you want or from behaving in the way that you want? Taking the next step to speak about experiences, thoughts, feelings, and deeply held beliefs is a game changing, reviving experience. Emotional stress can get in the way of your life, job, relationships and your future. Whether its anger, sadness, grief or anxiety, feeling disconnected can also lead to physical stress on your body. It’s often a solitary existence. Please feel free to contact me for an initial no-obligation online chat.

Are you burned out and overwhelmed? I help adult professionals manage stress and anxiety through talking therapy, presence practice and mindfulness. We can all experience burn out at some point. It's normal and it's nature's way of telling us to slow down. We don't always have the luxury of slowing down but we can learn to feel more connected to ourselves and others.

You may be considering therapy because something in your life feels difficult to understand, or because there is something particular you want support with. You might be living with experiences related to addiction, trauma, or self-harm behaviours, or finding yourself questioning who you are during a period of change. I see people as human beings, not as problems to be fixed. This understanding underpins how I work and the therapeutic relationship we develop together. I offer in-person counselling in London, with sessions available across Central and East London, as well as online sessions across the UK and internationally.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work with all adults and young people who come to me with a diverse range of presenting issues, with a particular emphasis on addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. My belief rests on the notion that every person possesses an innate drive to achieve their utmost potential, to grow, and to become the finest version of themselves. This belief serves as a guiding principle as I strive to create a confidential, supportive, empathic, and non-judgemental environment.

I work with people who are experiencing the anxieties, difficulties and deficiencies of everyday living, grappling with the struggles of simply being human today. Many people come feeling disconnected from themselves, and the others in their life, in some fundamental way. Often they're trying to fix that disconnection with habits and patterns that provide short-term relief but nothing lasting (using social withdrawal, people-pleasing, anger, alcohol, food, porn, work, exercise and so on) and consequently they feel depressed, anxious, or lost, lacking genuine intimacy, cut off from their deeper sense of self and purpose in life.

Men's Issues Counsellors
Is therapy for men different than it is for women?
Therapeutic treatments and types are the same for men as they are for women, with the same protocols followed and the same strategies employed. Discussing one’s feelings and emotions is an integral part of most therapies, and some men find doing so more challenging. Therapists can help clients through the process; some specialize in treating men for this reason.

How do you encourage a man to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either himself or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can men prepare for therapy?
Men can prepare for therapy by approaching the process with an open mind, being willing to talk about their challenges, and giving treatment the time to work. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. It can be useful for men who struggle to recall their emotional states to write down notes between sessions about their response to a given event or how they were feeling at a particular time.

What should men know about the process of therapy?
One of the most common reasons men don’t seek therapy is the notion that there’s something wrong with them if they do. Men should know that just because they’re seeking therapy doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill or damaged in some way. In the same way people work on their bodies through exercise or a craft through practice, therapy can be a way to improve the mental and emotional skills needed to be productive and effective partners, employees, and people in all realms of life.
