I’m an online counsellor working with clients who struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, and grief. I have experienced anxiety in the past and, with the help of good therapy, I was able to understand and reduce my anxiety; so, I particularly enjoy helping clients who feel anxious or overwhelmed and who feel it is affecting their ability to have good relationships with others. I can help you to understand what is causing you to feel anxious and overwhelmed, and to empower you towards change so that you can feel happier within yourself and begin to enjoy good and healthy relationships.

At some point in life, most of us long for new ways of being. This can be brought on through a period of depression, anxiety, traumatic past events, relationship problems, or grief and loss. Many of my clients have never seen a therapist before and I recognise that choosing to do so is a big decision. It often comes from a realisation that now is the time to take a pause, to reflect and to invest in oneself. For couples counselling, I know that navigating the complexities of our relationships can be challenging - humans are complex - two of us together is more complex! Having space to talk and be heard is a good place to start.

I currently work with clients who have issues with depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, transitions in life, low self-esteem or confidence issues and problems with life in general. My special interest is in trauma and I currently work with Choices who offer support with adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse. I can offer both short term and longer term support and offer a free initial chat so that we can get to know each other and see if we would be a good fit.

Do you feel anxious and overwhelmed around people? Awkward moments in interactions with others replaying over and over in your head. You would like to be included, to feel accepted. You might feel responsible for everyone else’s wellbeing. You might feel guilty for putting yourself first and asking for what you need. Do you struggle with low self-confidence and low self-esteem? Maybe you experienced loss or bereavement? You might feel it changed something within you – you are not yourself anymore. You might notice that your old ways of coping don’t work anymore. You might feel sad and there’s no joy in your life anymore.

Self Esteem Counsellors
Self-esteem lives on a spectrum: Not enough self-regard (or low self esteem) can lead people to become depressed, or to tolerate abusive situations and relationships. Too much self-love (or high self-esteem), results in an off-putting sense of entitlement and an inability to learn from failure. And it's occasionally a sign of clinical narcissism. Quite the opposite of being shy or shyness, yet still on the same spectrum. Equally, to lack confidence or lacking confidence is common amongst teens: child self esteem issues can be helped with self esteem support groups in Cambridge and therapists' support dealing with self esteem.

If you're looking for help with self esteem in Cambridge or for a Cambridge self esteem counsellor, these professionals provide therapy for self esteem. They include self esteem counsellors in Cambridge, self esteem psychologists, self esteem psychotherapists and self esteem therapists in Cambridge. They can help with counselling for self esteem in Cambridge or self esteem counselling and treatment for self esteem.
