I am able to connect with women naturally, but I also understand that God is able to bring wholeness and healing for men, children and anyone dealing with life through faith.
I share experiences with the least, the lost, the last, the left out and the left behind. I lived experiences with diverse groups and am well-traveled so I understand many cultures and ethnicities. I am a survivor of many forms of abuse including domestic violence, verbal, emotional, physical and sexual, and I believe in speaking truth to power. I am a Christian Pastoral Counseling therapist and I believe in building your faith system in order to cope with pressures that society places upon us on a daily basis. I believe that hurt people hurt people but healed people can help heal others and that is my goal in therapy.

I never set out to work with a specific kind of person, however, around 70% of my clients tend to be women aged between 30 and 45. They worry, feel stressed and not good enough. They often find themselves saying 'what if' all the time having lost their zest for life without any knowledge of why! It might be triggered by past traumatic events, the challenges of juggling life, family or work. These feelings might be a new, unexplained experience or they may have been around for decades. Does this sound like you? Even if this doesn't, you may be like the other 30% of people I work with, and you matter too!

I am an accredited BACP counsellor and specialised in anxiety and depression. I have a special interest in multiculturalism and Christian counselling. Sometimes we have difficult relationship with our friends and families; or we are at a crossroad in our lives struggling to make good decisions; or we are finding it hard to deal with the conflicts between how we are brought up and where we are now. Whatever the reason, people come to counselling to be listened to, find practical ways to improve their lives, and seek understanding of where they are at and what they want for their lives. I will be your counsellor to facilitate that.
