I have a particular interest in working on relationship issues - whether those relationships take place within the context of an intimate partnership, a family, friendships or in the workplace.
Therapy is an opportunity to get unstuck, to reflect on our relationship to ourselves, to the world, and to others, in an atmosphere that is safe, warm and encouraging. Often my clients are high functioning, intelligent and articulate, but at a crossroads in their personal lives - they may struggle to change relational patterns, make important decisions, or even know what they want in life. Together we explore what is going on at a cognitive, physical, emotional and relational level, identify sources of strength and creativity, and allow space for different aspects of the self to be known.

Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected?
You’re not alone. Whether you’re struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, ASD, ADHD, or BPD, or other difficulties you might find it hard to express what’s really going on. Maybe traditional talking therapy feels intimidating, or words just don’t feel enough. Want to feel heard, understood, and supported in a way that truly works for you—without pressure or judgment? My goal is to help you process emotions, build resilience, and find clarity using methods that feel safe and comfortable for you. Therapy should adapt to you, not the other way around.

As a psychoanalyst trainee, I offer a space where you can speak freely and be deeply heard. We’ll explore patterns in your life that may be rooted in early experiences, unconscious dynamics, or painful histories.
My approach is grounded in curiosity and respect for your unique story. We’ll listen closely to your words and what might be hiding behind them, opening a space for change: understanding what holds you back, facing what you may not yet want to know, and finding new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Therapy is a commitment, but also an opportunity for deep collaboration. If you're ready to begin, reach out.

I understand that everyone's story is different, and it's okay to need some help telling it. I am an MA-trained Dramatherapist, specialising in supporting children and adolescents to thrive. I know starting therapy can feel scary, so making sure you feel safe and comfortable is my biggest priority. I am particularly experienced and confident working with neurodivergent young people, who may have been consistently failed by the system and sadly experienced trauma along the way. I can offer a warm listening ear, gentle yet effective psychotherapy interventions, as well as a big dose of playfulness along the way!

My work centres around trauma, developmental trauma, emotional neglect, the highly sensitive person and the capacity to understand and express feelings and emotions. Through working with body awareness, somatically and with mindfulness breathing, you will come to understand how these feelings arise and why your body responds and behaves in the way it does; why you say things and act as you do. As you become aware of the effect of this on yourself and others, you can make informed decisions and choices on how to change this so that you live your life fully and authentically to reach its full potential.

Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed or just don't understand why you are not feeling "yourself" any more? We all face challenges and difficult situations in our daily lives. Sometimes, these personal difficulties can make us feel alone and unable to manage our feelings. Left unresolved, we can feel helpless to unravel these distressing feelings and emotions on our own.

Deciding to enter therapy can feel like a big step. I warmly welcome your whole self and seek to create a nurturing environment for us to work together. I practice Core Process Psychotherapy, a mindfulness-based approach that works with the interconnection of mind, body and spirit. Throughout our lives we build up habitual patters of seeing, thinking and doing, which can obscure our inherent wellness. In CPP we slow down, become curious and bring compassion and kindness to what is happening in the present moment. This allows wisdom and healthier ways of being to emerge.

Family Therapy Counsellors
What do family therapists do?
A family therapist facilitates the process of understanding and improving how a family functions. The therapist will help family members develop empathy for one another. They’ll seek to understand existing patterns, misunderstandings, and conflicts that arise, in order to help the family arrive at a realistic, unified understanding and develop the coping skills they need to build stronger relationships.
How long does therapy for families take to work?
Therapy manifests differently in every family; a common time frame is 12 weekly sessions, but some families may see improvement after just a few weeks. Families should discuss their goals with the therapist at the beginning of the process and periodically revisit those goals to assess their progress together.
How can you encourage a family member to attend family therapy?
You can encourage family members to attend therapy by expressing with both love and concern the challenges you see and explaining how a therapist could help the family navigate those challenges together. An outside perspective can help everyone feel heard, get on the same page, and develop new skills. If family members are still hesitant, it may be helpful to emphasize that family therapy is short-term—it won’t last forever.
Is therapy for families effective?
Family therapy can significantly improve family dynamics and relationships. Research suggests that family therapy can help individuals understand their role in the family, communicate and solve problems together, reduce conflict and draw boundaries when necessary, and develop coping skills for stressors, major life changes, and mental or physical illnesses within the family.
