I help clients with addiction, unhealthy self-esteem, people pleasing, codependency and shame.
Life can be difficult, however, there are times when difficulties and feelings become overwhelming and everything seems like a struggle. Having a capable ally alongside you who is impartial, warm and honest can be what’s needed to recognise and shift out of unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. Living in this world can't always be safe but I believe we are meant to feel safe in our bodies and our sense of who we are. Rather than 'fixing' problems, focusing on being 'better' or even happier, we can develop our sense of security, wholeness and worth, increasing our ability to navigate life's challenges.

My key aim is to help you experience more agency in your inner world: to notice, name, and relate to your feelings with greater understanding. By doing so, you can respond rather than react – developing more choice, self-trust, and flexibility in how you meet yourself and others.

Do you feel like you’re not getting what you want out of life? Perhaps you’re repeating old patterns that just don’t work for you anymore. You know something needs to change but what exactly? And how? These are very common thoughts to have, I’ve had them myself. So much so that I studied counselling and have learnt the skills to help others get back on track using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). If you don’t know much about CBT that’s ok, effectively it focuses on understanding how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours interact, and on developing practical skills to respond differently to difficulties.

Whatever issues you are facing right now, I offer a safe, confidential and judgement-free space in which we can reflect on them and, by better understanding your conflicts and experiences, grow in self-awareness and autonomy. I believe in the importance of building a trusting relationship with my clients, so that we can work together toward constructing meaningful relationships. Talking freely about whatever comes to mind is the main way to explore what is beyond our logical, rational mind.

I have supported many people with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, relationship difficulties, loneliness and difficult family dynamics.
My work integrates mainly person-centred and psychodynamic approaches. In practice, this means we focus both on what is happening in your life now, whilst also working at a deeper level, exploring past experiences that may be unconsciously influencing how you feel, think and relate in the present. I will work with you at your own pace, to your own goals.

I’m Andrew, and I’ve just graduated in mindfulness-based Core Process Psychotherapy at the Bristol-based Karuna Institute. I have been working in one-to-one capacities with adults and young adults for ten years, and have volunteered with mental health charities. I understand and respect the importance of trust and compassion in the bonds I form with both my clients and students. Core Process Psychotherapy is built on relationship, and I can help to explore how it is to sit with another, and find opportunities to heal and grow. I’m a naturally very open person, and I feel this helps me to forge strong connections.

Maybe you are finding it difficult to maintain good mental health. Maybe you feel lost or directionless. Maybe you experience difficulties with relationships. Whatever is causing you to struggle, creating space to explore and understand your life better can provide relief. Therapy with me could be that space.

I work in private practice and in Secondary schools with many mental health issues such as anxiety, self-harm, low mood, gender dysphoria, self-esteem and confidence.
I offer a safe non judgemental space to explore, express and understand what is happening for that person. I work creatively and around what suits the client. I am a person-centred counsellor, and the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of the process. I like to ensure that we can share honesty and humour and move forward positively.

Hi, I’m Ronda, and I’m a HCPC registered clinical psychologist. I offer private therapy for people who want to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters to them. This might mean moving towards clarity, change, or simply finding a space to breathe.

This may be due to personal crisis in relationships, self-esteem difficulties, life transitions or longer term mental health issues.
My style is Integrative & Relational. In practice this means I do not focus on using one theory or discipline of therapy but am influenced by several. It also means I believe we are social beings, who do best in healthy trusting relationships. This is what supports therapy too. I supervise counsellors and psychotherapists and enjoy working with trainees.

Do you have that feeling that life is becoming too much? Or maybe you feel your mood is low and you dont know why. Do you feel anxious but dont know how to control the symptoms? or maybe you know exactly how you feel and are suffering in silence because you dont know where to turn or who to talk to about it.

You don't have to live like this. Living with anxiety, shame, or self-doubt. Feeling disconnected from yourself and the people around you. Maybe you're overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that make life feel like it's just happening to you. Maybe it's loneliness, burnout, addiction, or that deep sense something is missing, even if you can't name what. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know this: It doesn't have to be this way. Therapy works.

Or maybe you are looking for techniques to help with the here and now that challenge the negative thinking patterns. You’re looking for therapy that moves at your pace, makes sense of your patterns, and helps you reclaim your life.

Hi, I’m Caro, a compassionate counsellor. You may be coping on the outside but struggling inside, feeling anxious, overwhelmed, self-critical, angry, depressed, or not quite yourself. You might be dealing with a life transition such as midlife or menopause, burnout from work or study, relationship difficulties, or a lingering sense that something isn’t right. Perhaps you’re unsure what the problem is, only that things feel worse than they should. Sometimes it can feel easier to talk to someone outside your circle of friends or family. Therapy offers a safe, thoughtful space to talk things through and begin to make sense of things.
