The atmosphere that I aim to create in therapy is one of dynamic collaboration. This means that whilst you will ultimately determine the focus of our work, I will also be an active part of this process, regularly offering insight, reflections and relevant theoretical understandings. I believe that working in this way fosters vitality, helping to create movement in our sessions and in your life. To say more about me as a practitioner, I am a UKCP registered Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist-in-Training in my sixth year of study at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC).

In person, online Zoom, or by telephone.
You maybe seeking support/help when things have become tough, difficult, or overwhelming that could be having an impact on health, mental health, on work, family, partner or affecting other relationships. Maybe past events are having an impact on you today in your life that you feel you need to talk about with a trusted professional, in a confidential way, where you will not be judge or criticised. This could be because you want to address issues around self esteem, sexual abuse, stress related work, health problems, trauma or bereavement. It could be that you need the space to off load, be listened to to find a new perspective

A countercultural healing space to meet what's difficult, and reconnect with what makes you come alive. I offer embodied, relational, depth psychotherapy - work that moves against a culture oriented toward speed, certainty, and quick fixes. My approach centres depth, embodiment, relationship, and trauma-sensitivity: together, we track what the body holds, not just what's said, and look beneath the symptom to what's underneath it. I bring my own lived experience to this work. I make a commitment to be with you in your most difficult places and experiences, without judgement.

I offer therapy sessions in-person in Bristol, or online via Zoom.
People come to psychotherapy for many reasons — recurring patterns, ongoing difficulties, or simply a curiosity about their inner world. Sometimes we just need someone who is trained to listen, who is present and interested. I offer a safe, supportive space to explore whatever feels important, using mindfulness and somatic awareness to meet your experience with compassion. This can bring clarity, release stuckness, and help you come back to yourself. I offer both short term focused work and long term in depth work.

You are a capable adult, used to managing work and responsibilities, yet finding your or life direction or relationship unexpectedly difficult. You are doubting the life you have built and the future you imagined, hoping to get back what you once had and wondering whether a different path may best. You may be struggling in your life or relationship , not because everything is wrong, but because something no longer feels quite right. What once felt natural now feel confusing and emotionally draining. Conversations go in circles or turn into fights, past experiences can create doubt and loss of trust.

We all need someone to tell our story to. To be witnessed in what feels true to us, and then guided to gently tune in to what is really going on. When our hearts are open we begin to heal. I work with clients who want to go deeper on their healing journey, or who have found that previous therapy hasn’t helped as much as they’d hoped. I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist - which means I draw on elements from different therapeutic modalities, supporting you with a coherent, responsive, and ethically grounded practice, that honours your complexity.

We all want to enjoy the lives we have, not be bogged down in self criticism, overwhelmed by emotions, stuck in spirals of negative thinking, or be haunted by the past. If you find yourself here because you're struggling with anxiety, depression, painful emotions, self criticism, or patterns of coping that are damaging your life and your relationships, then you're in the right place. Again and again I have seen the power of compassion in releasing people from the suffering that can come with these cycles. With the right support you too can take the courageous, and sometimes painful steps towards becoming the person you'd like to be.
