There might have been a bereavement, exam stress, bullying or sudden life changes have had an impact on their self esteem.
In my counselling sessions I use an integrative approach combining aspects of play therapy, psychotherapeutically informed support, newest neuroscientific theories and young people's counselling. Together with the young people I look to find a path for them to cope better with their challenges so they are better supported when facing their difficulties.

I work with those who are experiencing anticipatory grief, after learning that a family member or close friend is terminally ill.
Since you are reading this, it’s likely that you’ve made a decision to try and change something in your life for the better. That takes courage, especially when you may be overwhelmed by your thoughts, feelings or behaviours. I understand what it's like to be overwhelmed by life events. I know it’s not always easy talking to family and friends – they want what’s best for you of course, but they may not always be great listeners or be the most empathic; they may want to give you advice about what you should or shouldn't do, without seeing the whole picture. Sometimes you need to be heard confidentially, without judgement.

While working as a therapist, I have supported clients exploring issues such as trauma, bereavement, gender and sexual identity, relationship issues, depression, anxiety and sexual assault.
Whether you would like to process a particular event, explore difficult feelings, or delve deeper into your psychology, all of you is welcome in the therapy room. My work is informed by my yoga practice which has taught me that our emotional experiences are often stored in the body and shown me how movement can support us to process these.

With over ten years of experience in mental health field, I have supported clients facing anxiety, depression, relationship problems, low self-esteem, neurodiversity, family issues, bereavement, loneliness etc.
A lot of our emotional wounds stem from difficult relationships we've had with others, and I believe they can be best healed within a supportive, empathic, and attuned therapeutic relationship. That’s why I place trust, safety, and deep personal understanding at the core of my approach, helping clients foster healing, personal growth, and emotional resilience.
