So, if you are feeling anxious, depressed, or just lacking direction we can work together to find positive ways forward for you in your journey through life.
Therapy offers an important step in discovering the world around us and finding our place in it. For some people, coming to therapy is a big step. It can take courage to identify a need to heal, recover or progress. My approach aims to ensure that you feel safe in the knowledge that you can trust the therapeutic process. Maintaining the core values of empathy, unconditional positive regard for you as well as congruence (being authentic), I also use other modes of therapy.

Motherhood is profoundly intense and triggering. You deserve to thrive, not just survive day to day, pouring your energy into other people.Clients come to me for help with things like low mood/depression, anxiety, anger, burnout, not enjoying their children and issues with relationships and self confidence. Often my clients have overcome difficult childhoods or life events and find that 'old stuff' bothers them again because of the stresses and triggers of early motherhood. You can talk to me about anything, not just parenting. I work in an LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity-affirming way.

I am Neurodiverse myself & work with many ND clients also with chronic pain, bereavement, depression, anxiety, self harm, low self-esteem, childless not by choice, menopause and many other presenting issues.
It's not always easy to reach out and ask for support. We often feel that we can manage on our own or don't want to bother anyone with our thoughts and feelings. It can be hard to find a balance between work, relationships, family & other commitments to prioritise yourself. No matter what brings you to therapy the most important part is the relationship we will share. I aim to ensure you feel heard & give you a space to work through anything you want to bring to help you have a greater insight & self-awareness and I will walk alongside you on this journey. Counselling isn't a one size fits all package it's as individual as you are.

Eating difficulties oftentimes don't exist on their own, and it is common for people with eating disorders to also struggle with depression, anxiety, experiences of trauma and PTSD, grief, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and questions around their identity (including gender, sexuality, and faith).
My primary area of work is with people aged over 15 who are struggling with an eating disorder, disordered eating, and/or body image distress. I work with all types eating disorders including bulimia, anorexia, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and difficult experiences with eating that might not fit in one particular box or label. We can discuss diagnosis if that would be helpful for you, but I will work with you in a personalised way that is solely focused on your personal relationship with food, your body, your identity, your culture, your life experiences, and your circumstances.
