As a Body Psychotherapist, I support people who're feeling lost or stuck in life to reconnect with their deep inner resources, enabling them to grow, change and find new solutions to life's challenges. I tend to do committed, long term work with people, aiming to address problems at a core, existential level - supporting a lasting transformation of Mind, Body, Heart and Soul. This includes unlocking your capacity for more aliveness, creativity, spontanaeity and the discovery of meaningful work - and the ability to enter into a mature loving relationship. My work also includes space for psychospiritual and ecological awareness.

I am an ADHD/autistic counsellor specialising in Alcohol & Substance Abuse, Anger Management, Anxiety & Depression, and Communication Issues. I have a neuro-affirming approach to working with ADHD and Autistic clients. I trained to become a counsellor after first being a client myself, and I know what it is like to take that step. For 8 years, I have worked with a diverse caseload and have facilitated online, face to face, outdoor, and group therapy. As a pluralistic practitioner, I believe that different people work in different ways and it is my responsibility to adapt to your needs. I'm a qualified, accredited member of the BACP.

My ideal clients are executives, senior professionals and high achievers who have become so focused on performing well for others that they've lost touch with what they need for themselves. They are often intelligent, self-aware and highly capable — yet find themselves stuck, depleted or quietly anxious in ways they can't easily explain to the people around them. They may be managing teams, navigating high-stakes decisions, or sustaining a demanding lifestyle — while privately wondering how long they can keep going at this pace. The drive that once made them effective has quietly eroded the things that sustain them: relationships, i

Sometimes painful memories, strong feelings and intrusive thoughts become too overwhelming to manage. When this happens, it's not unusual to feel anxious, low in mood or just aware of feeling "stuck". You might be thinking "what's happening to me", and with no apparent answer, this can make things can feel unpleasant, destabilised, even frightening. Or you might feel that something more specific, like a bereavement, relationship breakdown or traumatic experience have made life seem more of a struggle and less of a pleasure. This is often the point when we seek help from someone.

At times life can be difficult. Sometimes it may feel like life isn’t moving forward and you keep repeating the same old patterns and nothing changes. You may be dwelling on the past or worried about the present or the future. You may just be in a place of general unhappiness where you just don’t know what to do. In developing a better understanding of ourselves, increasing our awareness, and learning about how we operate as people we are able to make fresh choices, see new perspectives, change things, move forward and find our full potential. I believe in peoples capacity to thrive when they are given the right conditions to do so.

What if you accepted every part of yourself, even those you hide from the world? What might be possible? Modern life can be challenging, with its demands, expectations and technology, but self-discovery can lead to learning, growth and a greater sense of ease. I can be your calm companion as you explore the areas of life that need attention, helping you connect with others and feel more belonging. My approach is person-centred and acknowledges how childhood experiences shape our adulthood, so that therapy will partly involve coming to terms with the past and how it affects the present.

Anxious? Depressed? Drinking too much? Over using recreational drugs? Relationships suffering? I use a hypno-psychotherapeutic approach to help you safely & supportively recreate unwanted, feared scenarios, such as the above, before re-stepping into them but this time forewarned and forearmed. I am Integratively trained so this means I have trained in many modalities so I can get you to where you really want to be not where you habitually return to as if it's an inevitability you can do nothing about. You can & I'll show you how. Never mind the why it's about the how. It's about what you want, NOT what you don't! My door's open....

People come to psychotherapy for all kinds of different reasons. Perhaps a particular issue is making life very difficult, or maybe you have more general feelings of discontentment, unease or unhappiness that you want to address. One-to-one psychotherapy can help by providing a safe, therapeutic space in which you feel able to explore and express difficult thoughts, feelings and memories. This process of deep exploration helps you to grow and develop in areas that have previously felt stuck, painful or difficult to resolve.

I work with people who are trying to making sense of their place in the world, trying to answer questions of meaning, purpose and identity. If you're considering therapy, you may know what you want to work on, but feel stuck, frustrated, or in need of some support. You may know that something's not right but not know where to start. This may coincide with feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, or burn out. Psychotherapy is a space for you to discuss what's on your mind in a non-judgemental collaborative setting. This is a chance for you to tell your story, and make sense of what it means.

You might be here because something feels heavy or unsettled, even if you’re not quite sure why. I offer a calm, collaborative space to slow things down and make sense of what you’re carrying. Many people I work with are thoughtful and capable, yet struggling internally with anxiety, self-criticism, shame, or feeling stuck. I work relationally and at your pace, drawing on person-centred and CBT-informed approaches where helpful. I offer online sessions and a brief initial consultation. “Therapy is not about fixing people, but about helping them live better lives.” — Mick Cooper.
