It's likely you've realised that something in your life isn't working as you wish, or perhaps you're sick of feeling the way you do. Either way, even if it feels daunting, you're ready to start the work that leads to deeper self-understanding and lasting change.

I use Transactional Analysis to help us both understand what is going on in your life and then we might use Internal Family Systems and Somatic Psychotherapy if we feel it will be helpful.
I welcome anyone seeking help with their challenges.  You might want to find a way out of anxiety or depression, resolve family or relationship issues, reduce stress, process bereavement or improve your self-confidence. You might be clear about the focus or struggling with uncertainty and need to find direction and clarity in your life.  Perhaps you would like short term therapy or maybe you know you need more time to explore the issues in longer term therapy. All issues are welcome and you will find a non-judgemental environment to help you work through your challenges to find the help and ease you are wanting.

I continue to be deeply interested in understanding the unique struggle each of us undergo throughout our lives, sometimes more than once. In providing a safe, facilitating environment within which a process of unfolding, unlearning and enabling new self-learning, then an exploration can take place between us. Through greater understanding of our innermost self, together we can begin to allow the possibility for change.

You might be struggling with something difficult in the here and now, such as the loss of a loved one, or the breakdown of a relationship. Or perhaps you’re aware of vague, underlying feelings of sadness, anxiety or anger. Maybe you feel trapped in a cycle of repeated disappointments with partners, friends and careers and don’t know why. Whether you know what the problem is, or even if you don’t, therapy can help. It’s an opportunity to explore yourself; to examine feelings, thoughts and motivations and gain understanding - the first step towards navigating a different, happier course.

These are the treatment types I use, and this is what your experience will be like: Expect integrative therapy combining EMDR for trauma processing, Jungian depth psychology, somatic work, mindfulness, and relationship therapy.
You're here because something needs to change. Maybe it's anxiety that won't quiet down, a relationship that feels increasingly distant, or a nagging sense that you're not living as your authentic self. Whatever brought you here, I'm glad you're taking this step. I help people break free from patterns that keep them stuck. Using an integrative approach tailored to your needs, we'll work together to understand the unconscious defenses and coping strategies—often rooted in past or family experiences—that may have once protected you but now hold you back. In our work together, you can expect: A warm, non-judgmental space where you feel

With over 20 years’ experience in wellness and bodywork, I blend counselling and somatic awareness to support emotional healing, release old patterns, and restore balance, clarity, and self-connection.
I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work as a therapist. As a neurodivergent practitioner, I experience difference directly in my own life, and I know how it can feel to move through the world out of sync with expectations, with disconnection or overwhelm following close behind. My experiences of loss have also shaped a deep respect for grief, change, and resilience. I don’t see people as broken, but as meaning-makers in complex worlds. I offer a steady, relational space where patterns can be explored with curiosity, supporting a clearer, more authentic sense of self.

My work is rooted in authenticity and somatic wisdom, combining grounded awareness with emotional depth.
You may feel you are coping with the demands of daily life, yet carry an inner sense of overwhelm, confusion, or a feeling that something essential is missing. Perhaps you appear capable on the outside but inwardly experience disconnection from yourself, difficulty trusting your own thoughts and decisions, repeating relationship patterns, anxiety, or a longing for a deeper sense of meaning and belonging. You may find yourself questioning who you are beneath the roles, expectations, and adaptations that have helped you survive, while sensing a quiet longing to reconnect with your true self and the life you were meant to live.

As a somatic psychotherapist, I will always consider embodied emotions.
Hi, I'm Tracey and I am a psychotherapist (MA)  and counsellor (dip).   I work with both adults and children.  I work online, and by telephone or in person at a private practice in Bratton, Wiltshire.  I am experienced working with trauma, anxiety, stress, depression and common relationship problems. I also have ten years experience of working with clients who have diagnosed or suspected neurodiversity, helping them to come to terms with 'difference' and it's affects, both societally, personally and emotionally.

You're a skilled therapist, psychologist or helper who understands trauma and attachment intellectually, yet something still feels stuck. You give generously to clients whilst your own needs quietly wait. Perhaps you notice yourself prioritising others, carrying tension that won't shift, sensing there's more depth available but unsure how to access it. You want relationships that feel genuinely reciprocal, to trust your body's wisdom, and to access the deeper states that become possible when you're truly nourished. You're ready to explore beyond traditional approaches, integrating spirituality and energy work into your understanding

I am known as both Miranda and Millie - you are welcome to call me by either name. My work is rooted in deep respect for each person’s innate wisdom and capacity for change under the right conditions. I offer a calm, steady environment where clients feel safe enough to explore the parts of themselves they may have hidden, silenced, or left misunderstood. Rather than “fixing,” I walk alongside — helping untangle patterns, soften self-judgment, and build emotional resilience. Through curiosity, honesty and compassion, I support clients in reconnecting with their own clarity, strength, and sense of possibility.

Hi, my name is Natasha, and I’m an Intuitive Counsellor. Intuitive counselling is a gentle yet profound process of understanding the difference between the conditioned mind and our intuitive self. The more we practice presence, the more we strengthen our ability to listen within. When we begin to observe how the mind becomes cluttered with thoughts from the past or worries about the future, we create space to return to the present moment — where clarity and truth naturally arise. From this awareness, we can start to recognise and release the beliefs and behaviours that no longer serve us.

I’m drawn to the notion that as well as having the potential to hurt, relationship (both with self and others) has the power to heal. Deeply rooted damaging and limiting expectations can be lifted, releasing suffocating feelings of shame, loneliness and despair. It is my experience that therapy can help in feeling safely connected, valued, and indeed, loveable.

Depending on what feels helpful, our work may include somatic awareness, parts work, guided imagery or inner child work.
Welcome! I'm Emilie. I work primarily with women, many of whom are neurodivergent, highly sensitive or have ADHD, who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or caught in painful patterns. You may be navigating a major life transition such as burnout, a breakup or career change, struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem or relationship difficulties, or feeling that you've spent too long holding everything together for everyone else. I offer trauma-informed Psychosynthesis therapy to help you make sense of what's unfolding, understand the roots of your struggles and develop a kinder, more trusting relationship with yourself.

Somatic Counsellors
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
