Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, low self-esteem, bereavement, PTSD, or body dysmorphia, you do not have to keep carrying it alone.
I bring several years of experience working with complex mental health needs and trauma, alongside over 20 years of remedial bodywork. That combination gives me a rare and deep understanding of how our experiences live not just in our minds, but in our bodies too. It means I can hold a genuinely safe and steady space for whatever you bring.

Hello and Welcome, Life can indeed be difficult at times. Many are struggling with mental health in ways that are no longer manageable. Our past and present hurts, our unprocessed feelings can rise to the surface. We find ourselves thinking, feeling and acting in ways that do not reflect who we want to be. Some of us have Grief, Trauma or Addiction that we just can’t seem to work through. As a Senior Accredited Psychotherapist with a PHD(Hon), Master Degree and EMDR(Accredited), I've seen thousands come through my door, with various presenting issues and undergo genuine transformation, healing and leave with hope for the future.

Something feels harder than it should and you might not even have the words for it yet. Maybe you're overwhelmed, anxious, or carrying grief you can't quite name. Perhaps becoming a parent has brought unexpected emotions to the surface. Or you're in the middle of a life transition that's left you feeling lost. I offer warm, relational psychotherapy tailored entirely to you, a space to slow down, make sense of what's happening and feel less alone with it.

Everyone has times when things aren't going the way we might like. We can find ourselves anywhere from, a bit grey and unhappy, to, extremely dark and depressed, overwhelmed, stressed and spun out. Talking to someone can help. I work with individuals and couples and have a comfortable, safe and confidential practice in Dartmouth Park, North West London in between Tufnell Park and Archway N19 and work online from home in NW6. I take genuine interest in my clients, like to engage openly and talk in a straightforward way, developing a strong working relationship, showing empathy and building trust. I am also a counsellor at UCL.

Perhaps something has shifted in your thoughts/feelings/behaviour that’s uncomfortable, or maybe you’ve decided to explore a long-standing issue. I help my clients (individuals and couples) achieve their therapeutic goals either by discussing their current or past issues through counselling/psychotherapy or some clients also opt to have hypnotherapy with me too (you can read about that on my website). I offer empathy, confidentiality, safety and opportunity to explore their feelings in a therapeutic relationship. I'm not here to pass judgement or advise but instead I'm here to help you navigate the highs and lows.

I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety and self esteem stemming from childhood trauma or neglect that influences the quality of their relationships with partners, friends and family members.
I feel the best thing about therapy is being seen, being held in mind, knowing that when you walk into that room you are free to speak openly in a way you may feel unable to with anyone else in your life. Whatever is behind your reason for looking for therapy now, an immediate crisis, a lack of motivation, social anxiety, relationship issues, a background or childhood that you feel may be getting in your way I hope that you will take the possibly life changing step to understand yourself more deeply.

My therapeutic approach combines psychodynamic principles, relational therapy, and parts work to explore past experiences, unconscious patterns, attachment and relationships. l am a BACP Counsellor specialising in supporting children and teenagers. My practice is rooted in the creative arts, which offer a safe and expressive outlet for emotions — especially when words are hard to find. No artistic skill is needed, just openness to the process. I have particular experience working with neurodivergent young people, including those who are sensory seekers. The arts can provide a regulating and containing experience, helping to soothe the nervous system and support emotional development in a way that feels natural and engaging. I also work at a secondary school in Bethnal Green for Place 2 Be Charity.

Not everyone feels better after 6 sessions of CBT, especially if your Anxiety, Trauma or Burnout are connected to earlier experiences, difficult relationships, or chronic stress. You might be feeling anxious, on-edge and unable to relax. Troubled by memories that are hard to switch off from. Finding yourself feeling emotional pain in relation to 'small' things as if something deeper is triggered. Feeling emotionally exhausted or burnt out after holding things together for a long time. Carrying a sense of shame or self-criticism. Noticing patterns in relationships that repeat. Tried therapy before but didn’t feel fully understood.

Perhaps nothing is obviously wrong, but the way you've been coping no longer works. You may be exhausted from holding things together, stuck in the same relationship patterns, or unsure who you are beneath other people's expectations. I work with adults and couples who want not only relief, but a deeper understanding of the patterns shaping how they live and relate, so they can develop more choice in how they respond.

When should a person seek therapy for low self-esteem?
When self-esteem problems begin to disrupt the healthy daily functioning of an individual, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not engaging with friends for fear of being judged, not completing work assignments because they don’t think they’re capable, or not finding romantic love because they don’t feel they’re worthy of it, a therapist may be able to help.

What are the signs of low self-esteem?
Low self-esteem is a common issue that can affect a person's mental and emotional well-being. Some common signs of low self-esteem include negative self-talk, perfectionism, social anxiety, difficulty making decisions, an inability to set boundaries, people-pleasing, and others. A lack of belief in oneself or one’s abilities and a feeling of not being worthy or deserving underlie most of these characteristics.

What causes low self-esteem?
Feelings of low self-worth can begin in childhood or adulthood. Being raised by a highly critical parent or growing up feeling constant disapproval can stay with a person well into adulthood. Specific issues in adulthood may also be a cause of low self-esteem. An unhappy relationship, a dysfunctional work or school experience can impact a person’s feelings of self-worth.

How can therapy improve self-esteem?
Therapists can help identify negative thought patterns that keep the client stuck in a loop of destructive self-talk and develop coping skills to change the voice in their head. A therapist can help with goal-setting, so that clients are better able to stay on task and build confidence from successfully completing work they’re proud of. Coaching a client on how to better communicate can improve relationships. These skills can result in someone with low self-esteem feeling empowered and living with less fear.
